Whats your favorite part in ff vi?

I liked the opera part. I thought the music was perfect in that scene. I liked the way everything flowed together too, it seemed to make the whole part even better than it actually was. Well for me, I'd have to go with the opera scene, obviously.

My favorite part was the air battle with the gunship thing (can't remember what it's called) and the Floating Continent. Also, chasing down Doom Gaze and battling Atma Weapon.

I have more favorite parts. the one where Locke turns bright red when he see Celes in a white robe, and all the stuff that had to do with ultros.

Oh, wow. My favorite part would be at one point near the beginning of the game, when you can actually hire SHADOW for a brief time for money (not at all required, i think before you get the chainsaw) and if you go to sleep at an inn, you can see his dreams of his past, when you see he was a train robber or something. you can see his face! Otherwise, I like when he is introduced. "He'd slit his mama's throat for a nickel!"

Omg.. as many of you said, one of my favourite parts
was the Opera! Yea the music, the drama, the intenseness
of the story at that point, all at your fingertips.

I also loved the parts where you got to split up into groups!
Yes! The Bannon fight, the Phoenix cave, Keka's tower, the
moogle battle!(i can't think of the rest atm) That was always
challenging to me when I was younger.

I could just say the part between the beginning and the end, but that would be taking the easy way out.

Personally, I really enjoyed Sabin's "quest" after he and the raft crew became separated. The interaction with the characters he meets is some of the best in the game. Most importantly, this is the period where we are introduced to my favourite character in the game, Cyan. This part also contains of the most powerful scenes in the game, IMO. A man witnessing his wife and child dying before his eyes is pretty difficult to watch, and fairly heartwrenching.

when kefka is ontop of the floating island with the emporor and traps him with the statues then you are givin the chance to save or kill shadow

I love the Phantom train, and also the scenes from Shadow's past. Also, the moogle battle was always fun to me. Classic FF6.

Hands down the Opera stands tall above all else. Easily the most memorable part of the game.

I have always loved the Colliseum because of the music. Spinach Rag rocks my socks off!

Leo's fight with Kefka is bad-ass. I always pray he won't die, but I never seem to succeed at preventing the inevitable.

Anything with Ultros is also classic. Don't tease the Octopus, kiddies!

And yes, of course, Mr. Thou! I still crack a smirk every time I hit that part. Anyone who fails to be amused by that scene should be shot!

I like the part when you take mog to get the sasquatch Umaro
and Mog has to brow beat him into joining. I think I like that part just because it's nice to see Mog stand up for himself against a creature that is like three times bigger than he is. also it makes me laugh.

My number one favorite part in the game was the opera. The duel music was pretty sweet. It was also very dramatic. I have to say I also enjoyed the Phantom Train area. Sabin's friggin hilarious when he scarfs down all that food. I have to say I liked Locke's story with Rachel too. That was real sad. I cry every time I see that scene.

The whole world of Ruin was great as well. It's sad though if you fail to save Cid. Celes tries to kill herself. I actually got that once but I immediately reset.
