favorite part of Final fantasy VI - Page 2

I haven't completed the game yet but so far my favourite part of the game would have to be the Opera scene where Setzer is brought into the game. I love it because the music is beautiful and it's just a lovely scene. Ultros is also pretty amusing because he's so pathetic. I thought it was funny how Celes could suddenly sing like an opera singer, she probably has never had any practice or anything. It's an awesome scene and I love it.

For me I'd go with the Opera. The music being played in that whole part is just fantastic. I love the way it sounds and fits so well, plus you get Setzer soon after that which I like as well. And in the opera the whole story that they have go on is fun to watch play out and see how it all goes. That's my fave part.

hmmmm...I've played through this a few times (and still own a US SNES and a copy of the game in storage) and I can't put me finger on a favourite scene. Possibly the beginning of the World of Ruin was one of the best points for me (when I run through it for the first time), othrewise the Opera is a touch of genius

Yeah I liked that part too. I also liked when you had to protect the Esper and Banon from the imperial soldiers.

Shadow owning Kefka with statues FTW. It is awesome, a guy with seemingly no morals and without giving a damn. Well if you choose, giving his life for a set of people he barely knows, and on a smaller note the world. If they'd cut out the run to the ship and animated it, it would have been quite simply godsmacking.

Hmm, this is definitely a toughie, I really liked the whole game, and, if you have seen my profile, its my favorite out of the series... but back on topic:

My favorite part... is when you get Gau on the Veldt, priceless moment, him and Sabin fighting, I seriously laughed for a good while after seeing it the first time, and I laugh every time I see it afterward. Honestly, me being able to laugh at a video game kind of makes it memorable in my mind, as a good deal of the games I play have a very serious tone, its always nice to have a mood breaker every once in a while.

My favourite part was right at the start when you have to block the pathways and get to fight using all the moogles. That was almost like a final fantasy tactics moment.

And the novelty of beating on your enemy with moogles, like Mog. It's one of the greatest things ever...
Hell it was probably what got me so absorbed the first time I played, as I hadn't seen anything like that before ffvi.

But so far my favourite part has to be when you visit Zozo for the first time. I mean the endless rain, the lies, the chainsaw puzzle, the tower climbing, thiefs and the freaking awesome music.......aww....so cool!

Besides the fact of being attacked almost anywhere, i especially liked to flare those borras on the return trip...yeah..it'll teach them goons not to mess with Celes...

My favorite part is when you are in the Esper Mountain with Terra, Strago, Relm, and Locke, and Ultros attacks you, and relm paints his picture in battle! lol. Ultros is a big softie ^-^. Seafood Soup! lol

Best part in the whole freakin game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course pretty much every scene involving Kefka and Ultros. And when Terra goes nuts and Espers out.
