same here.. when playing through the snes version i NEEDED them.. there was no way i would be in a party without them.. not going to happen.. but then the ps version.. not needed so much.. but at times i used them.. i hate going slow, one of the things i was glad they have fixed.. making runing a default..

As for the rename card, i actually pushed a button when i had the option to rename and i couldn't anymore. So i guess if your clumsy, it is a good relic.

I used sprint shoes throughout the game on FF6 Snes. I actually had three pairs for each party on kefka's tower.
