I don't like much he. I think that his ability is almost useless because you can add any ability to him. And he was otherwise pretty boring character. I didn't even used he much.

gogo is a extra character that can be found in the triangle island in the world map make sure all your characters are swallowed by the monster there and you will enter a secret area when ou finally find a man talk to him and select his name. Gogo can use the mimic command which can copy the last command a character did or he can also use any ones special moves like mog dance or gaus rage

I think Gogo is Emperor Gestahl, cause he wants to get revenge on Kefka for betraying him. In battle Gogo was very useful, but you couldn't improve his stats that was the only downside.
As for Gogo being Adlai Stevenson, it is probably some humour from Square. So don't take it too seriously.

Genius. I have never thought of that it makes perfect Sense. Gestahl is rescued by a loyal soldier and then goes into solitude to plot his revenge. Since we never see what his skills are in WoB he could be GoGo.

Everything on Wikipedia is true, Stephen Colbert said so. I think he also said that despite the constant slaughter of Tuskers on the veldt by heroes, their population has increased 300% in the last three hundred minutes of play.

I could have swore I posted in this before... right when FF Anthology came out and mentioned that the Gogo in that cast X-Zone on itself, sending it to another dimension.

Now who the hell in FFVI would do such a crazy thing is another story altogether.

A lot of rumors sure do circulate about this topic. I think the most believable would have to be Banon though.

While wikipedia states that it is "assumed" that he along with other high ranking Returners were killed by Kefka prior to his appearance at Thamasa, I like to think otherwise.

I mean this guy was a priest..he could heal himself without using MP! Nothing, not even in the end of the world could do this guy in.

As for general leo (notice my name)..this is the least likely claim to me. He's dead, end of story

While Gesthal certainly has the motives to get revenge of Kefka...he did get kicked off a floating island. I'm not sure how anyone could really survive that.

Daryl does seem very believable to me as well..but there are a few other characters that could be possibilities: Arvis for one. We never did find out what happened to him. Baram could be a good option as well.

This to me is really interesting. Note that almost all the people rumored to be Gogo are males (except Daryl)..and it never says if he is a man or woman.

..in the end though, rumors are just rumors. I think in reality Gogo is Gogo. Due to the fact that he was a secret character, i think that he had little to no involvement with the story. Square probably had a lot of fun writing him in knowing that people would be speculating to who he was.

i think he is a creation from the squre guys. they where jsut writing typeing or whatever and they most likly thaught that mimes are cool and good because it makes the game interesting like it is now and how your saying it is some politician guy. not saying that the idea for the name and the uniform did not come from the guy i jsut think the origal thaught was some cool mime guy that was eaten by a zone eater. and like in most square games there is usually a relation to religions so maybe it was teh guy that was eaten by a whale(or somthing like that) in the bible. maybe the idea jsut came flowing in and he has no importance in the story. and he is maybe a he/she like quina or a angel that has no type of gender. we most likly will never know.

Lets wait and see if FF6 Advance has anything to say before anymore assumptions are made?

I'd suppose that Baram, Clyde aka Shadow, would make a Mimic-Assassin duo, a pair of guns for hire to the biggest bidders. Probably some kind of Assassination plot against someone in the Empire is what got the two in such trouble.

Too bad Gogo doesn't react to any characters specifically, otherwise this would've been solved back in 1993.
