I was one of the people who wrote off Gogo as being Daryl in disguise, but after reading that Adlai thing... wow. I'm going to need a Rename Card. That's just too eerie to have all been coincidence.

I wonder if Square used Gogo (FFV) in coincidental robes and Mime class, and then stumbled on the works of Adlai Stevenson, hence adding the crashing ceilings, blind men on bridges, ZoneEater, etc in FFVI. I don't know about the quote alluding to the World of Ruin. That's problematic for me because it ties the FFVI creators' decision of destroying the World of Balance with the existence of Gogo if Gogo is, indeed, Adlai Stevenson.

You know what? I'm getting ahead of myself. My vote goes towards the Adlai theory. I always wondered why he said "I have been idle for too long" and this theory answers it... for me, at least.

I think Gogo is a male, probably middle aged 30's. I would say he is probably an adventurer, that has pretty much retired until you find him. Probably wandering the world observing, rarely acting in any events. When found he probably realizes this is his chance to come out of the shadows, and once more go on an adventure. An important one at that, saving the world.

I will have to go with yours but I do go crazy over the fact that I think it also could be Daryl I dont like rumors but some time's they're true..But we all know that Gogo was also on FFV which means he's not any of those people at all because FFV has nothing to do with VI and still the question is, is he a male or female?

I think he is a young John Travolta.

Gogo is most like just a carry-over from the FF5 Gogo; a link between the fantasies not unlike Cid. The difference between Gogo and Cid is that Gogo from FF5 and FF6 are actual the same. After being "defeated" by Bartz and company, he returns to his super-utility vehicle (currently in submarine mode) and changes it into airship mode. Unfortunately for him, he is still underwater at the time and the control short-circuit. The whole SUV goes haywire and flails out of control, right into a rift created by X-Death. The SUV and Gogo get sucked into the N-Zone where they float around for awhile. Eventually, he runs into ZoneEater who, oddly enough, is eating parts of the N-Zone. A giant engulf rips Gogo from the SUV and swallows him whole. Gogo explores the cavern of ZoneEater in it's early stages, before the bridges and falling rocks and eventually finds his niche in the cave, where an occasional Twinkie drops in about once a week. After living there for about a few years, Gogo becomes recklace and starts fighting with the bridge-pushers. Being a mime, all he does is push back, which just makes everyone else mad. Eventually, Gogo is sentenced to spend the rest of his time in the back of the cave. Coincidentally, at this time, ZoneEater eats a whole through the N-Zone at the same time and in the same place as the destruction of the World of Balance. He and his contents get pulled through the hole and end up on Triangle Island. When later found, Gogo, tired of being alone, joins the party.

Myself I was always partial to the idea that maybe the Zone Eaters were connected to the N-zone. Just out of curiosity, when exacly does Gilgamesh make an appearance in FFVI?

I always thought that Gogo was possibly Realms mother. Why not right. The artistic gene from miming to art is possible. Realm whole family is like in that game: Strago(Grandfather) Shadow(Dad) Realm and why not Gogo (Mom). Why not right.

I doubt that Gogo is suppose to be either Daryl or anyone connected to the party, 'else why didn't Gogo reveal him/herself? Of course, you could blame it on amensia (spellin?) but I think that's a cop-out and rather unlikley. My assumption is that Gogo is merely an experiment of Square's, to see how the player would react to a mimic character. Still, that's not like fanfic writers can't have fun with, eh?

Why should Gogo be one of the characters from FFVI in disguise when he has already appeared in FFV? Just as he says, he is just a character that stands by at the edge of the world and observe the events. When someone worhty comes and asks, he joins them! (I'll give this a little more research later though!)

Gogo is not Daryl. Daryl's mysterious disappearance and the joining of the mysterious Gogo is just part of the storyline to give the players hope for Setzer's already hopeless lovelife.
