Oh man, James, where the heck did you find those lists? AHHHHH!
It's probably somewhere right out in the open, but hey, now it's here, and there's no problem finding them any more, right? Right. Thanks for getting those up. Now we can just look for some more random lists to tack on here. Why not, right? As long as it's relevant... And D@vid, that's an interesting concept there... working everyone up to at least level 43 (where Terra learns Fire 3) before going to get Sabin... how much time did you have to spend doing that? |

Alright, I am setting out to do the impossible, folks. Due to the fact that NOBODY likes Gau much, I have decided to help his reputation a little. I'm working on getting virtually EVERY Rage, which will take a LOT of patience on my part. I'm getting ready to enter the Floating Continent right now, so the list is rather short compared to what it will be when I am done. Furthermore, I am using each Rage to find out what Special Attack each enemy gives you (Because they have an attack and a special attack, so that doesn't take TOO long to figure out). I'm sure you'll like what I have found so far. Here they are, in alphabetical order. I also have taken the liberty of placing them with a number that represents where they would be on the Rage Screen in the Menu.
EX: Guard Soldier Templar -Blank- The Guard would be #1, Soldier is #2, Templar is #3 and #4 is still empty. The format follows the entire way down, from left to right all the way to #256, which is the final slot. ------------------------------------------------ Abolisher - #236, Poison Actaneon - #95, Clamp Adamanchyt - #215, Acid Rain Anguiform - #59, Aqua Rake Apokrypos - #13, L.3 Muddle Apparite - #111, Imp Aquila - #237, Cyclonic Areneid - #94, Numb Aspik - #90, Giga Volt Balloon - #223, Exploder Baskervor - #30, Cyclonic Beakor - #42, Duster Behemoth - #33, Meteor Black Dragon - #214, Storm Bleary - #100, Doom Bomb - #80, Blaze Borras - #243, Revenge Bounty Man - #122, Bite Brawler - #12, Stone Bug - #233, Stop Cephaler - #151, Husk Ceritops - #199, Giga Volt Chaos Dragon - #227, Disaster Chimera - #32, Aqua Rake Cirpius - #135, Haste2 Commander - #18, Break Commando - #200, Reflect Crasshoppr - #48, Bserk Crawler - #92, Step Mine Crawly - #99, Heart Burn Cruller - #76, Slimer Crusher - #147, Lifeshaver Dahling - #10, Cure2 Dark Side - #97, Ice2 Dark Wind - #41, Break Deep Eye - #168, Dread Delta Bug - #49, Mega Volt Doberman - #27, Bite Dragon - #132, Revenge Earth Guard - #179, Big Guard Exocite - #58, Scissors Exoray - #146, Virite Fidor - #29, Pounce Flan - #72, Slimer FossilFang - #36, Sand Storm Gabbledegak - #224, Vanish Garm - #204, Demi General - #103, Cure2 Ghost - #91, Bolt2 Gigantos - #175, Magnitude8 GiloMantis - #50, Schrapnel Gobbler - #137, Shim Sham Gold Bear - #246, Gouge GreaseMonk - #169, Shell Guard - 31, Critical HadesGigas - #84, Magnitude8 Harpiai - #138, Aero Harvester - #79, Haste Hazer - #9, Bolt2 HeavyArmor - #160, Tek Laser Herm Crab - #45, Net Hornet - #47, Iron Needle Humpty - #74, Poison Ing - #73, Life Shaver Insecare - #209, Wing Whisp Intangir - #164, Pep Up Iron Fist - #109, Stone Joker - #108, Bolt2 Karkass - #221, Bolt3 Leafer - #24, Incisor Lobo - #26, Tusk Lunaris - #203, Face Bite Luridan - #143, Land Slide M-Tek Armor - #67, Tek Laser Mad Oscar - #98, Sour Mouth Mag Roader - #7, Bio Mag Roader - #176, Mute Mag Roader - #232, Haste Mag Roader - #244, L.4 Flare Mandrake - #239, Raid Marshal - #101, Wind Slash Mesosaur - #34, Step Mine Mind Candy - #141, Sleep Sting Misfit - #165, Lifeshaver Muus - #220, Pep Up Nastidon - #207, Blizzard Nautilus - #57, Ink Neck Hunter - #170, Imp Necromancer - #242, Doom Ninja - #4, Water Edge Nohrabbit - #196, Cure2 Osprey - #231, Shim Sham Parasoul - #192, Flash Rain Peepers - #115, Pearl Wind Phase - #189, Blow Fish Pipsqueak - #66, Imp Pm Stalker - #193, Drain Power Demon - #112, Flare Primordite - #149, NumBlade Pterodon - #35, Fire Ball Pug - #85, Break Punisher - #222, Bolt3 Ralph - #124, Tackle Red Fang - #121, Drain Red Wolf - #249, Rush Repo Man - #78, Exploder Rhinotaur - #22, Mega Volt Rhinox - #118, Life3 Rhobite - #119, Life Rhodox - #19, Snare Rinn - #208, Fire Sand Ray - #93, Tail Scrapper - #198, Elf Fire Scorpion - #226, Poison Sea Flower - #234, Sleep Sewer Rat - #116, Incisor Sky Armor - #68 - Tek Laser Slam Dancer - #83 - Ice2 Slurm - #185, Slimer Soldier - #2, Fire Soul Dancer - #174, Osmose Sp Forces - #195, Safe Spectre - #183, Fire Spit Fire - #228, Tek Laser Sr Behemoth - #128, Fire3 Still Life - #81, Lullaby Stray Cat - #25, Cat Scratch Telstar - #69, Sonic Boom Templar - #3, Fire2 Trapper - #46, L.3 Muddle Trilium - #51, Bio Trilobiter - #55, Poison Barb Trixter - #248, Fire2 Trooper - #102, Swing Tusker - #123, Blizzard Uroburos - #148, Quake Ursus - #21, Net Vaporite - #71, Blaze Vector Pup - #114, Bite Vermin - #210, Scan Vomammoth - #28, Blizzard Vulture - #43, Shim Sham Weedfeedr - #142, Bserk Were-Rat - #20, Poison Whisper - #15, Demi Wizard - #197, Demi Wyvern - #130, Cyclonic Zombone - #131, Condemned ------------------------ Biggest Surprise: Cirpius using Haste2. You can get that Rage early on, long before you have any chance of learning the spell yourself! A definite must-have, indeed! Most Useful: Rhinox with his Life3. Think of how those bosses will suffer when you have a nearly invincible party. Gau casts Life3 over and over and over again. What could be better than that? Once again, you get this long before you can learn the spell itself. Most Disappointing: Intangir, hands down. This beast is so tough on the WoB version of Triangle Island, I figured his Rage would be just as awesome. In fact, the thought of learning Meteo had me in a frenzy. Alas! He only gives you the worthless Pep Up! What a bother, eh? Most Anticipated: Right now, I can't wait to finally figure out which Rage in the game uses Shock, which is General Leo's Special Attack. Yes, one of the enemies has Shock, but I think they are in the WoR...damn bastards. I want to Shock the crap out of Atma Weapon! =P

You know, I actually found this list once... and said 'Screw it. I'm not modding that whole thing to fit in here. Maybe later.' and yet, here it is... magically... as though you've read my mind...
*Psiko gained 3 more brownie points!* </FFX_TriggerCommands> But really, that's an awesome list to have. Think about it. Every Rage, and you know what each one does. Amazing. Normally, I'd do this ( ), but... oh wait, just did.

As I get more Rages, I shall edit them into that first post where they belong and then make a post to show you which ones I just added, so you can find the new ones with little difficulty.
So far I have found 18 new Rages since I first posted that list, several of them being from the Floating Continent. Yes, I fought through the entire place just to leap back down to the airship and get more Rages before going on. I figured it would be easier to get some of them this way rather than later on when there are more enemies available, lol. So, without further ado, here are the ones I have added: Sand Ray Rhodox Commander Trilium Nautilus Sky Armor Spit Fire WeedFeedr Ninja Pterodon Sewer Rat Vermin Dragon Spectre Rinn Red Fang HadesGigas Apokrypos Amazing how new ones pop up all the time, even after (what seems like) a million battles on the Veldt. I have dedicated HOURS of Veldt time, and several people have almost all the spells learned that I have available. I believe Sabin and Gau both need only one or two more spells, those ones being at slow rates, like Drain. Anywho, the Floating Continent has been a breeze with Gau. Can anyone say Doom? Yeah, the Behemoths and Ninjas are very easy to get rid of with the Bleary Rage, and Chimera works wonders against the Dragons. For those other weaker enemies I usually just use the General Rage for the Cure2 casting. Hey, its free, so why not? Now Atma Weapon shall ph34r my l33t Rages!

Thing is, it has been repeatedly reputed that nobody has been able to find all the rages, there always seems to be 3 blank slots (And trust me, I have gotton to that point). So I would reccomend staying at 3 empty slots since you can't fill them up, or at least, nobody in the history of history has been able to

Official count: 148 Rages.
108 Rages left to go. Best New Rages: Sr Behemoth Power Demon Peepers Earth Guard Behemoth Mesosaur Sr Behemoth is an obvious good rage because Fire3 is an awesome spell, plus he is a boss that can be found on the Veldt. As an undead monster, you take damage from Cure spells BUT Doom and the like will bring him up to full HP. So, if you want to heal him, just cast Doom. Power Demon has Flare, which is awesome. But the downside is that he is undead, just like the Sr Behemoth. Why do these uber Rages have to be undead? Peepers! Good god, EVERYONE should get this Rage for Pearl Wind! For those of you who do not know, Pearl Wind cures everyone in the group an amount equivalent to the caster's current HP. VERY useful, IMO. Earth Guard is the other must-have from the WoR! Big Guard is super-costly for Strago, but is an excellent Lore. Just think of how nice it would be to cast it for free, rather than the 80 MP... Behemoth is my most-used Rage. He is close to the beginning, which is great, and he casts Meteor, which does a fair amount of damage to all enemies. It is my go-to Rage in all those repetitive random battles, if for no other reason than it's #33 spot. Mesosaur is another great Rage. One of several that casts Step Mine, but this one is the best so far because it is #34, so you don't have to shuffle through the entire list to find him. And I was VERY disappointed by the Pug. I thought that would be at LEAST a Step Mine...not a stupid Break!

Here's a somewhat incomplete list of esper effects. Thought it might help someone...
Kirin: Casts regen on all party members. Unicorn: Casts remedy on all allies. Sraphim: Recovers HP Starlet: Recovers HP Phoenix: Brings allies back to life. Palidor: Makes whole party jump. Ifrit: Fire damage to enemies. Shiva: Ice damage to enemies. Maduin: Non-elemental damage to enemies. Bismark: Water damage to enemies. Ramuh: Lightning damage to enemies. Shoat: Petrifies enemies. Odin: Slashes all enemies (Instant kills?) Raiden: Powerful physical attacks? (not too sure...) Crusader: Major damage (Fire elemental?) Bahamut: Unblockable damage Tritoch: Non-elemental damage Alexander: Holy? damage Ragnarok: Turns enemies to items. Terrato: Earth damage Carbunkl: Casts reflect on all allies. Phantom: Casts vanish on all allies. ZoneSeek: Casts safe and shell? on all allies. Golem: Blocks physical attacks. Stray: Muddles enemies. Fenrir: Duplicates ally(s?) (similar to the blink spell in FF4) Siren: Causes enemies to sleep. Not the most complete list, but it could help some people. EDIT by Colt: Ah yes, very good list. You're spot on for most of them, but rather than change up your list, I'll just link you up to the complete listing of esper attacks, spells, abilities, etc. http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/espers.php Last edited by LocoColt04; 03-20-2004 at 05:25 PM. |

Quote:
Link: Rage and Lore List It's Chupon, Allo Ver, and Siegfried. N' Pug is the 256th spot and should remain blank apparently by that FAQ's discussion on the issue saying that Pug can't be Raged. But if it can, it should be in that last spot. Regardless the only way to get the complete list is to use a game genie or game shark. |

Why would I want to delete something like this? Brilliant, in fact. It's good to know you've done a bit of research on this one. About that Pug though... psiko kinda listed the rage for it already (Break) so... well, I dunno, maybe something somewhere somehow... I'm lost already. Nevermind.
Heh, at the time being, I suppose my post in here could be counted as spam, so to avoid that... umm... oh yes, one little thing. I was wondering if we should post up lists of all relics and weapons and things like that or not. I mean, feel free to do so, because I'll probably put something up sooner or later...
