Celes or Terra?

Terra, no doubt...i always train with both, but Terra kicks Celes' **s!

I prefer Celes. I think she is the beter of the two. I feel she is a more useful character at the beginning. Plus I like her personality a little better. Although towards the end I feel that any character is about the same because of the Espers.

I figure it's about time I add my two cents to this particular thread. I chose Celes, most of the reasons having been stated already. Runic comes in handy, learn magic naturally, etc. For me, it was her story that put her ahead. Being turned into a "weapon of mass destruction", the constant mental torment, and the rebirth through the aid of Locke are what really made her appeal to me.

I like both of them pretty much equally, but used Celes more because for some reason I liked her more.

I like both of them, but I'd prefer Celes because she seems more of a useful character. I like using her Runic ability in battle because it can save your life more and she seemed more mentally stronger than Terra.

Of the two, I've always preferred Celes. One, she's better looking (blondes are more fun anyway, right?). Two, she has a much higher magic power than Terra (in her normal form). Third, all she needs to boost her power is weapons, armor, and relics. Terra needs a little extra effort with her Morph. Finally, Celes can sing! I like nothing more than a beautiful girl that can sing like a siren!

I have to say I like Celes more. She has much better strength and magic than Terra(in her normal form) and plus she's well-balanced all-round. She doesn't have any particular weaknesses.

Anyhoo, I like both, but I choose Terra. I never used runic much; didn't have the patience for it. Just wanted to hit people with physical attacks and be done with it. That's where Terra's esper form comes in; in her esper form, her attacks are all twice as strong, or close to it. Then, when you equip her with the Genji Glove, Offering, an Atma Weapon and an Ilumina... she kicks ass. And in her later levels, her esper form lasts nearly an entire battle.

As far as characters go, I've always said that I relate to Terra the most out of any characters in this game (or Locke, depending upon when I said it.) I felt bad for Terra when Locke fell for Celes instead. I'd also like to note that in her portrait in-game, Celes has a huge snoz. Not exactly attractive to me. Anyhoo, that's it.

Yup this is a fight between these 2 girls over Locke. So i choose Terra because she surpose to end up with him rather than letting her hair free state she is the lead all along.

Celes is definetly my favorite though I do like Terra as well. Celes has better stats and doesn't have many weaknesses.

I didn't like any of them personally, all Terra did throughout the game was winge, especially after Kefka ruined the world. I just planly didn't like Celes, that Opera thing with her I thought was dumb.

Actually Star you're only partially right. Terra's the main character in the FIRST half of FF6 in the World of Balance but in the World of Ruin it switches over to Celes.
