I think you can wager megalixers for tintinabars and then to exp. eggs... yeah but does anyone wanna tell me where i can get megalixrs? My ffvi skills are kinda rusty and i think i stole or won them from peepers on the island celes wakes up on in the world of ruin.
Hey and also I forget where to pick up the Exp egg in Daryl's tomb, the world is square etc. Someone wanna remind me? |

Megalixir Question:
-Well, I just checked up on it, and from what I've seen, you can only steal Megalixirs from Master Pugs, and Earth Guard enemies. You can only steal normal Elixirs from those Peeper enemies you mentioned. So if you want Megalixirs, you'll have to find those enemies to steal from. Or, if you want Tintinabars, go and fight some Pugs at the cave where you get Umaro, they occasionally drop them after battle...... Exp. Egg Question: -There's a blank tombstone in a room near the entrance to the area. Inside you'll be asked if you'd like to write something, and after inspecting the four other tombstones in another room, write: Thew Orld Issq Uare, in that order. You'll then discover how to find the Exp. Egg, which is in Basement 3, through a hidden passage to the right of the treasure box with a Czarina Gown in it. Sorry if this doesn't help, it's all I can tell.... Last edited by Sea; 03-20-2002 at 11:51 AM. |

Quick questions
I was wondering what is gained by defeating all of the dragons? I skipped the first two and I was wondering if its worth going back to defeat them? Also where is the best place to level?

Definitely go back and fight those dragons! If you didn't notice, each dragon gives up a nice item for beating them.
Ice I belive gives up a Force Shield Storm gives up Force Armor Dirt has a Magus Rod Pearl has a Pearl Lance Skull has the muscle belt Gold the crystal orb Red the Strato Katana Blue the Scimitar All good items you'd want to fight to get, but the best is when you beat all of them, you release the Crusader Esper. This guy teaches Merton (or Melton on PSX) and Meteor (10x, compared to the one you got from Odin, so if you hesitated over changing him to Raiden so hastilly, you can recoup that right now), it has a 50% boost on each MP increase you get at each level up it's equipped, the only down side is that it damages the party as well as the opponents when summoned in battle. To level up, I reccomend going to the Desert south of Maranda first off. The monsters have a good balance of exp, MP, and GP after each successful battle. Once you bulk up enough, move to the forest I mentioned earlier, the one north of the veldt. Equip a few exp eggs, and you'll be gaining levels hand over fist. |

Go to Tzen any time after you escape the Magitek factory. There's a guy hiding in the forest in the upper right corner. Talk to him and he'll offer to sell you the esper. If you do it in the world of balance, it'll cost 3000 GP, and will be well worth it. Later I believe he will sell it for 10 in the World of Ruin.
But the learning rates attributed to the curative magic it offers is something you want to get as soon as possible. A must have before the Cave to the espers |

I know this is late but if you go to the dino forest next to Gau's dad's house in WoR you can win Imp Halberds from tyranosaurs.
Go to the Coliseum and wager you Imp Halberd to Cat Hood to Merit Award to Rename Card to Marvel Shoes to Tintinabar to Exp Egg. That might be out of order but that's the general deal. |

Yeah, you got the order right. But here's an extended list:
Imp Armor -> Tortoise Shld -> Titanium -> Cat Hood -> Merit Award -> Rename Card -> Marvel Shoes -> Tintinabar -> Exp. Egg -> Tintinabar Also note that: Aegis Shld -> Tortoise Shld Imp Halberd -> CatHood Elixir -> Rename Card Megalixir -> Tintinabar |

A few titbits..
I find that the best way to level in WoR is to quest until you have a full party (4) and then start exp'ing. The thing is, when a new char joins or re-joins your party, they will be given a level within a range of 4 of your party's average level. Therefore, if your party members are all level 90 and you get Locke from the cave, his level will be 86 - 90. Atma Weapon: Steal from Goddess of Death in Kefka's Tower. Ragnarok Sword: Steal from.. uhm, one of the other Goddesses. Fight the retainer in Kefka's Tower, then have Gau Leap on him in the Veldt. Yes, yes my friends, Gau will now have General Leo's Shock attack... (please don't double post in the future) |

Well, simply put, Locke is found at the end of the Phoenix Cave. He isn't hidden in some secret chamber you might miss, he's at the end of the cave, obtaining the Phoenix Esper. I can't think of another way to put it really. Just make your way through the cave and you should find him.......
