Would you? He would look like how he looks when he is not in battle. You would find him in the Clositer of the dead(GBA) and for all the other versions, he would be in the sealed temple of kuza. In other versions(other then GBA)after you un seal all weapons and see him in the last battle, he will tell you that they will meet again but he needs some time to prepare. When you go back to Kuza, ever one tells you that he is where the weapons are. He then asks for Excalibur because he never got to use it and tells you to prepare for a fight. In the GBA version, at the end of the Clositer, he will be waiting after you beat Enuo and went through the clositer at least once. He will then ask the gang for that fight that he wanted and then fight you.

(He has his music and is in the form when you first fought him and does not morph)

Gilgamesh starts the battle of by casting Mighty Guard, Haste, Image, Reflect and Slowaga. If you every cast dispel on him or get rid of ALL of the stats then he does it all over again. Also, he always uses 2-4 for attack per turn.

His attacks are the follwing:

All the same attacks as before but with the addition of: Critical Hit(around 6000), Flare, Holy, Bio, Mega Flare, Jump(he will still damage in the 3000s) Giga Flare(No charge), Predict(GBA only and is always level one), Finisher(GBA and the screen turns white) Combine(GBA only and is always random), Dark Flare(GBA only)

Low: 1-99,999(he dosn't use any off his old attacks but he uses...)
Sword Dance(damages in the 9000s), Curaga(9999 cure), Spell Blade( Same as Mystic Knight But he only spell blades Flare and Holy), Flash, Pond's Chorus, Alagmest(3600 with Mighty Guard), Mind Blast, Tital Wave, Atomic Ray, 100 G's Earhtquake Combo, Wave Cannon, Alluring Air(Confuses every one for a bit), Romeo's Ballad( Stops every one for a bit), Zombie Powder, Doomsday(GBA only and does 4000 with Mighty Guard), Melt Down(GBA only), Deep Freeze(GBA only), Rapid fire, Call(calls Enkidu and it uses Male Strom), Hurricane, Blade Blitz(GBA only, does around 1500 on every one)

After you beat him he joins your team and the select screen now has 5 people and you get to fight with 5 people. If you go back to x-death, you get a bonus scene were he gets pissed off and becomes Berserk in battle.

His max hp and mp are the same as Bartz and he is the same level as Bartz. He has mastered the follwing jobs:

Chicken Knife(other versions only, you get your sword back) or a New Katana Mursame(GBA only. It has an attack of 180 and casts allows someone to call Enkidu and he uses Malestorm. Malestorm with do 9999 on bosses and cause sap. It has the same effect as a normal Malestorm on normal monsters)

Absolutely not. It would screw up the Gilgamesh's personal storyline. He's the only canonical multi-FF character due to the events of FFV.

Plus, it's a widely accepted RPG convention that when an enemy character joins your party, their stats and abilities are rewritten, almost invariably much lower. For example: Magus from Chrono Trigger, Golbez in FFIV, etc. And since he would join with near-max stats, overpowered abilities, and all mastered jobs, not only would he be woefully ungratifying to play, he'd be a shameless gamebreaker.

Despite having the most character development of the minor characters, he doesn't warrant much deep exploration of his character.
