Hi, I played this game one time many many years ago and got to Moore's forest and stopped. Its hard to find a forum and get help for this game since its one of the less popular and less discussed FF's from snes bit era and on. I'm playing through the game right now again. After I beat this game, I'm probably not gonna be playing it again for quite a while because I don't spend time on rpgs as much as when I was a teenager or younger. So, I want to make the most of this playthrough. I read through the topics in this forum, seems whats mostly discussed is bosses and help on specific aspects of the game but not too much info on general things so can someone tell me whats the best places to get GP, AP, and Exp in Galuf and Exdeath's world? Mainly places where its efficient, not time consuming, and brisk. Like, IMO, someone on gamefaqs told me and I agree that the best place for all of these in Bartz world is the island above Crescent Town where you fight black flames. Guaranteed same battle, one summon defeat, guaranteed about 850gp, guaranteed about 350 Exp, guaranteed 3 AP everytime. I'd like enemies like that if there are. I've read about Gilgame cave and I'll try that but it doesn't exactly sound like a guaranteed thing to get the gil. Also, if theres somebody who knows the game in and out that I could instant message and help me out, that'd be great. thanks

| The World's Enemy | Exdeaths world: The best place to get gil and ap is the void but its prtty late into the game, the castle before the actual void is good for exp IMO. Galufs world: Galufs castle go into the basement area, you'll know bcz theres a save point right before the stairs, go down the stairs and you reach a small room with a locked door, the enemies in here are statues, your guaranteed from 4ap a battle to 8ap a battle. The enemies have about 3000-4000 hit points and can turn you to stone but they only have enough mp to do it once, they're slow aswell, also they can be defeated by softs, wich they drop so you could probly kill them no probs that way but its slow. The best way is to can haste 2 and the pound them with bolt/ice 2/3 and normal attacks, after a few minuites they get easier and easier. | ||||||||

94 | The easiest way I think is in the basement of Val castle (Galuf's castle). You always fight the same enemies, but they are more susceptible to Level 5 Death than softs, I feel. Have your fastest character cast Level 5 Death (Blue magic) and it's an easy 4 or 8 AP each time. It helps to equip a Hair Ornament so the spell costs half as much MP to cast. Also, these statues give you a good amount of GP, so when you run out of MP, just run upstairs to the Inn and fork over 50GP. It's much easier than bothering with Ethers. Before you know it, not only will you have every job mastered, but you'll have enough money to buy all those damned Fire and Coral Rings for those attempting Omega and Shinryu.

890 | In Gualfs World, The nest place for gil and abp is the basment of bal but if you want exp then go to moore(if your past that then Xdeaths castle or gil cave) Go to the inside of the void to the castle in exdeaths world because that is as much exp you can get ever in the snes/ps1 version. If your to low level for the void, then go to were Istory was and you'll incounter some good exp bad guys.
