Gil Cave.

I'M A BAD SPELLER JUST TO TELL YA!!!

I found a way to get to the end at gil cave without running into the Gil Turtle. All you hav to do(if your playing the GBA version or if if playing the any other version without quicksave just open the main menu a lot)is take three steps(keep on retrying if you run into him right away)until you get 80 gil. Then quicksave it and take another 2 steps and quicksave. Repeat the process until you get to the end(YES, this does work i tried)Then when you get 40,000 gil at the end, teleport out of there and go back in and do the same thing if your DESPRATE for gil.

If you want to kill the gil turtle, i found a way to beat him easy. You MUST have the follwing if you want to do this my way.

lv6 time magic(k all you need is fast2 and FLOAT[i forgot to use that and i dies because of earthquake. it takes away 3000-4000 hp]If you want to return)
lv6 white magic(all you need is curaga, blink and protect)
lv6 black magic(Blizzaga)
lv5 summon magic(GOLEM IS A MUST!!!)
2 people with spellblade level 6(Blizzaga)
Some one has to be a ninja for dual weild
And the last ability you can choose.

For me this is what i had(I'm only telling you the important stuff i had Eqquiped):

Bartz lv28- Ninja: Throw and spellblade(2 air knifes equipped and an Elven mantle)

Lenna lv28- Time mage: Time and white(lv6)(Frost rod equipped and and elven mantle)

Gualf lv28-Mystic Knight: Spellblade and image(Great sword and Genji glove)

Faris lv28-Black mage: Black and Summon lv 5(Elven mantle eqquiped)

K, wait until you get a good start and then use blizzga swords on any one who can use it(i used image on gualf first)and then summon golem. Then use blink on every one(and if you have extra time, use protect)then just keep on attacking with blizzaga and the people with blizzaga sword. I never got a chance were my time mage/white mage didn't have a spare turn.

*If you want, put the dancing dagger on your ninja(must be in the right hand) and sword dance will do 5000 damage for each sword. Just make sure you used blizzaga sword before you attack with the dancing dagger because if mystery of walse popes up and you don't have enuf mp, you will have to use return or and ether. A faster way to make this fight go by fast, is to make some on a bard and use requim(does 1000-2000 damage)I made my Gualf a bard the second time aroung. You can also give your mages Frost Rods so you don't have to use mp(I bought 6 of each elemental rod before i left world 1)*

I heard of that trick in the GBA remake version. Gil Turtle is really, really, hard to kill. But ya gotta love your Black Mages' Ice3/Blizzaga.

na blizzaga isn't that great but spellblade with ninja, he will be dead before you know it.
