If anyone has seen the anime movie "Legend of the Crystals: Based on Final Fantasy", you should know that this is is really the first sequel to a final fantasy game (though obviously not the first GAME sequel). The story is split in to four 30 minute episodes. The story takes place in the same world as Final Fantasy V though 200 years in the future. Cid and Mid are the only two reoccuring characters though descendants of both Reina and Bartz are in the anime as well. 3 of the 4 crystals have been stolen, and a new set of heroes must rise to defeat the enemy, "Deathgyunos?" I saw this anime years ago..before FF V was released here so at the time i had no idea this was actually a sequel to the game. I'm gonna try to find the movies and rewatch them to get a final verdict. If anyone has seen them, do you have any opinions?

2,816 | I've never seen it to be honest, but it sounds really good though.Hmm...I wonder if I can find it cuz now that you mention it, it sounds really good. Like you said, its not the GAME sequel, but its like Advent Children in a way.

1,224 | Yea basically like AC, though i must admit i think AC is much cooler.  But i haven't seen the movie in awhile so i'm gonna try to find them again and watch them as well. From what i remember chocobos are in the movie too, but they are like zombies and dead looking or something. 3,090 | You just reminded me, I started to watch it on YouTube but I got kind of distracted. I didn't really get was going on but I think SquareEnix should do a re-release of it or something like that, I dunno how well it went down but it can't be as bad as FF: Unlimited or Spirits Within.

1,224 | Yeah i have to agree..i really hated spirits within. I think they should rerelease it too, seems really hard to find. It's definitely pretty damn old school. I I managed to find a picture of how chocobos are depicted in the movie if anyone is interested
