And what are you getting all excited about, it's not like you can PLAY the Japanese version, even if you found out all the extras, what's the point?

Even though I already have the PS version I think I may get it, I was planning of going through it again at some stage so I might as well do the newer version. Perhaps this will give is bit of a boost to the game seem as how it is one of the more underrated of the series. I mean it isn't been completely made over like III has but a few extra jobs and dungeons are good, plus they should fine tune bits like the slow speed in battles and the like. One thing I noticed is the graphics don't look anything better than the original.

They're sprites, dude. Stop being a graphics whore. Graphics aren't the most important thing in a game.

Oh wow, a game has sprites, big freaking deal. I love the pixel work of the games. The sprites look so clean.

The PS versions of FFV and VI do run very slow compared to their SNES originals. The GBA version is likely to run at a better framerate. Plus, to be fair, I really wanted to see FFVI get the DS treatment like FFIII.
