Inventory | I agrre wit u. The other thing I liked bout it is the bosses were hard most of the time unless u leveled up good. I mean U can beat X-death at level 40 but u have 2 be at least level 50 2 beat Shinryu and Omega. No still answered my Q(Do u guys think it will be better on the GBA version or do u think it will be worse than the SNES version?)

Inventory | I liked how there were multiple endings and different worlds you could go to. It also had touching moments and the plot wasn't have bad, while it wasn't epic, it wasn't bad either. The only dislike I have for it was Character Developement.

| Yeah the GBA wersion looks really great, but anyways I though the game was alright. The job system seemed really fun but overall nothing else about the game made me too excited about this game at all.

Inventory | I don't think FFV was the worst at all. It wasn't the best by a long shot either. I think for the time it came out it was really advanced with the job system (which is why it was never released outside japan till now lol) but with that in mind it was awesome...after FF4 I must say it was pretty dull storyline but enjoyable for the amount of activity involved in leveling characters.

Inventory | I thought that V was a good game..though definitely not better than either IV or VI though. I thought the graphics were no improvement at all over IV and the storyline wasn't as original either. The job system of course was awesome though It definitely seems to be one of the lesser talked about FFs for sure.

Inventory | With being released after FFIV it had a lot to live up to, then straight after it came one of the most popular in the series (FFVI) so it was kind of in a sticky situation, plus it didn't help that it didn't get released outside of Japan for a long time. I think most people don't give it a chance, I guess it is the type of game where you have to unlock all the costumes for it to get interesting but I think it is highly underrated for how good of a game it is. Quite a shame imo.

Inventory | I think it is hard being stuck between such stellar titles. IMO FF V is more of the hardcore RPGers game for it's gameplay is MUCH deeper than either IV or VI. Casual gamers may not be able to look past it's shortcomings to see this though and it is a shame.

Inventory | Final Fantasy V? Weak? What are you on about man! The graphics nor sound of that game cannot and shouldn't be judged because it's old but that doesn't affect the storyline at all. Galuf is like one of the coolest guy even in Final Fantasy history. I love the battle when Galuf fights X-Death using the Elder Tree Branch, so he cannot die. Galuf has like 600 HP by then, will my Galuf did. X-Death cast Bolt3, 3000 Damage and Galuf is still standing. Final Fantasy V is great game, I still play it to this day. It's foolish to doubt, misjudge or abuse that game. In my eyes, the weakest of the series was Final Fantasy II. Absolute garbage.

Inventory | FFV was the first 2D FF game that I ever actually felt like finishing (had yet to play FFVI) The whole concept of changing jobs was what got me into the fighting. And I loved the story too. The job changing concept was even used again in FFXI.

Inventory | While I don't think it's the weakest, i think it had a lot of untapped potential. I think because of the whole job thing, we saw an extreme lack of character development for one, the story was ok though pretty cliche, and the sound and graphics were in some respects a DOWNGRADE from final fantasy IV. I think if they had spent more work on those areas in FF V, it could have been one of the best if not the best in the series.

Inventory | Indeed, I agree with Leo, it had potential, but the really dry story and lack of characters was a real drawback... this is actually the only SNES FF I havent finished, and its only because the story bored me to tears... much like X-2, aka one of the lamest games in my eyes. FFII was also quite weak and I havent finished it as well. *shrugs* bottom line is that FFV isnt the worse game in the series, but I cant say its one of the best either, gets a 5/10 FF ranking, 4/10 overall RPG ranking (in my eyes) *edit* typos, bleh
