???Are shinryu,Omega and gilgame THAT hard???

Funny, I beat Omega and Shinryu(with problems at first-ofcourse!), but I never fought Gilgame and lived to tell about it!....Sadly...

well, gilgame isn't that hard if u levled up(So I hear) I finally beat Shinryuu tho.

Yeah Omega was really hard for me as well. I had my character around Lv.60 and he still whipped my a** no matter what job I chose or what ever I decided to do.However, like after like 8 tries I finally beated him.His HP is high and he has really strong attacks too.

Fishie- Erm, neither Omega or Shinryu have that much HP, really, its just the point, DOING decent damage consecutively is the hard part in either fight.
...And Omega counters quite a bit(as those who fought it know).
In my opinion, Shinryu's stronger, but Omega attacks more frequently, with a bunch of deadly attacks(and not to mention it just loves Confusing your characters) and has the dreaded Encircle.
Still, Omega only gives you the "Omega Badge"....Shinryu gives you FFV's most powerful weapon, Ragnarok.

About Gilgame, I suppose I just didn't know its weakness at the point I fought it(and I own the Anthology guide, too...I just decided to go solo and not read).

ya i agree. I hope they get some kind of a thing added 2 them in advance. Go 2 game spot it has a lot of ffv advance stuff.

I'd say all were hard..but man when i was at the end of the game i was only on lv. 38 or so, so beating Omega at that level definitely wasnt going to happen. I forgot what level i was at when i did, but i did some leveling up for sure.

I thought Omega was harder than Shinryuu just because he was so fast.

Omega wasn't faster, it just counter attacks every one of your attacks with four attacks.

In the GBA version, i think he got toned down qutie a bit,i am like in my 30s and when he uses :Soul Cannon"(wave cannon in gba) it only takes away 500-1000 but his atomic ray is still strong.

Ha i wouldn't have complain about a toned down version of Omega. Trying to beat him on Lv. 38 was too tough..i really didn't have to do THAT much leveling though, from what i remember i was maybe around Lv. 50 or 60? I'm not sure though, I'd have to check. You just need a good strategy for him

I'm pretty sure Omega is much faster though, i know he does that counter thing though. Omega is over 20 levels higher than Shinryuu so i think it's safe to assume that his speed is much higher.

ya probaly is. Shinryu is toned town to. His tidal wave does 3000-9999 damage this time(mostly 3000-5000)his attacks are hard tho doing around 8000. O well, i guess they improved on the remake of him. I just got 2 the bonus dougen and im stuck.

I beat Gilgame twice, then I got tired of fighting him...Bahamut was a joke, but I've yet to challenge Omega and Shinryu. I'm going into the Cleft of Dimension at around level 45/46...think it's okay? lol.

i beat the cleft demsion at level 39(In the GBA tho) all thanks to the move finsher!!! I make a mistake, Shinryu's tidal does the same damage, Neo Shinryu's tidal wave takes away 3775-9999 but he still is hard.

Oooohhh.... Gil Turtle. I remember him. All I did was cast blink on all my characters and summon Golem. Then I had my Mystic Knight have the Two Handed ability and enchanted my Great Sword with Blizzaga. It took awhile, but I killed him eventually. As for Shinryu and Omega, Shinryu was actually harder than Omega. I equipped my dancer with a Rainbow Dress, Red Slippers, and Lamia's Tiara. I also had a Bard to do Romeo's Ballad. I then sword danced him to death.

ya that is one way. You can also use berserk on Shinryu and then use golem and blink. Ya i beat these bosses at least 10 times each. There pretty easy now.
