FFV Remake?

patience inferno mage, if they gave us the date already they would have to work like sixty just to get it done. I was wondering. If they just make ffv and vi on the ds with the same remodifying as III, wouldn't more people buy those than just the gb version of the games?

FFV as a 3D game would be fabulous.Like if they need more power than DS they could remake FFV on Rev or GC.It might be like a FFX2. With eye candy for job changing sequences. I always wanted to see a dragoon in 3D (not elemental humans with wings*points at LOD*)

I saw a shot of an attempted 3D version of FFVI. It would have been really great if they turned the 4-6 FFs into 3D.i think it would have been a huge success

I'm not too fond of remakes that are just ported with some fancy new dungeon and better graphics so I would prefer a remake that was actually REMADE not just updated, thats why I'm like a hound for FFIII DS.

Well apparently they are remaking it, so that answers the question. I'll say right now that there is no way in hell that I'll be buying it. I just don't see the point as I already own the game, and FF IV advance didn't really change alot as far as graphics, they just changed the Background Graphics it looks like. As if I care about that.

I think it's just a waste of time, unless your going to make some dramatic updates to an old game, like 2D to 3D, than I'm not interested.

I would prefer a new all enhanced version. Better graphics and no more ports.(well ports are ok but the PS version was not that great.) Too much loading is bad.

It's going to be on a cartridge, so there will be zero load times whatsoever.

As I mentioned months ago, FFV and FFVI are being ported with very slight graphical updates. Otherwise, there are no changes -- so they're not remakes.

FFV and FFVI are both coming to the GBA, I think.

Well, I went to some sites 2 c if there gonna remake it fr GBA and they are. On most of the sites I went 2 they said that there gonna relase it with ffVI like how they did it with I&II toegether. It would be easier 2 relase it on GBA because they don't have 2 do improve the graphic a lot,They don't have 2 make it 3d and fr FFVI I don't think they have 2 improve the graphics at all. The one thing I can asure u is there gonna but it on GBA and they MIGHT relase it this year but I don't know when.

Well graphics improvements should be good. However there's an obvious question here. That is why dont they remake it for the graphically superior psp?. It makes sense, and strikes me as odd how DS suddenly accquires all these remakes, ah well I don;t run Square.
Psp remakes though seems they would be better.

I just got FFV its rather nice but yeah itll be re-made....then VI...then..VII wait nvm....O_O hatd be cool though if they remade FFVII not for the SP but for DS and PSP!

I hope the remake it, the game is quite underrated and this would give it the lift it needs to get people to enjoy it. The playstation release had terrible loading times, in turn has put me off going through it again. But if they rerelease it I will definatly buy it and go through it again, it would be nice to see something similar to FFIII DS.
