When was FFV released?

What was the actual date that final fantasy V was released. Im doing a project in college and if someone knows please post a reply.....

In Japan, the game was originally released on the Super Famicom (SNES) on 12 June 1992. It was later released on the PSX as a part of Final Fantasy Anthology on 19 March 1998.

That collection then went International on 17 May 1999.

Finally, FFV was released in North America in that same collection on 05 October 1999.

since you mentioned release dates...i heard rumors about FFV for GBA, not too sure at the moment if they're really true, but if they are id like to know when the release date is.

They're not rumors.

It's an absolute fact. Square-Enix announced a couple months ago that they'd be releasing FFIV, FFV, and FFVI on the GBA. No clue as to when the release date will be, however.

It was called Final Fantasy Collection right? I have it came with 4,5, and 6.
