Ok the lil monster in Jachol Cave that looks like a squirrel, but is gray. It has 1 HP and no physical attacks hurt it that I know of. I also tried casting a spell on it, and a summon and got no response. Well I tried bolt and it summoned 5 more of them, and they all killed me with it's special attack Incisor. I have found that I can use !CNTRL and control them and use there own attack against them. However that is the only way I know of to actually kill them. Is there any other ways to kill this creature that I am unaware of?

| Just The Average Gay Guy Next Door | What I did was get some Phoniex Downs or better buy Raise, put all magic users in the back row. Get the Image ability for Ninja and Dual Weild. If any have everyone as Ninja with those abilities except your healer, and give the healer the !Black ability, or if you have a Time Mage even better use haste on your melee fighters. Have your Ninjas' use Image and attack twice, if you have Cura for your healer use it as quick as possible or he will just keep using Incisor. However he does'nt use that move all the time, he has other physical attacks but they cost less damage, even more less with Protect on everyone. Try using Slow on him and have your Ninjas' attack him, if your healer has the !Black ability use your highest level black magic spells, which you should have the -ra spells at that point, and he'll die in no time. If this does'nt work then you might need to level up more, or wait til you get the Dragoon, Samurai, and Chemist jobs. Dragoons !Jump ability will be really useful, as well as a Samurai's Gil Toss and DullSide Stun effect, Chemist can kick ass if you get it up, then you'll be able to mix and create high lvl potions and dragon fangs etc.

100 | Yeah those mother ****ers killed me too. My only advice is to approach them when you're at a really high level and just go all out, use Control if you want to. Geo effects work well enough too.

94 | I've been playing the "Anthology" version of FF5, and was battling these suckers in World 1. Geomancy almost always works. Since you are only ever fighting one Skulleater at a time, you only need one spell to hit. After doing several runs through the cave for AP (the best place to build in World 1 as far as I'm aware), I've only seen three Geomancy spells that can be cast in the cave. Wind Slash does massive damage to everything, but is the rarest. Stalactite will hit one enemy for a good amount of damage. Elf Fire (I think that was the name) may or may not deal damage to him, however it may also confuse him. If this happens, he can use Incisor on himself, but if he attacks himself normally, he'll deal no damage and be back to normal. I'd just say have your two fastest characters use "!Earth" as a second ability. After awhile, the AP comes roooooooling in. (I had everyone master Hunter for !Sshot before I beat World 1, if that's any indication). | ||||||||
