Abp

I am just curious as to how this game handles the ABP. Because I find it frustrating after killing 3 enemies in a battle and getting 1 ABP for it.

It isn't like a downgrading system is it? Meaning like the stronger I get the less ABP I get from monsters?

Because if that is the case, it totally sucks.

Secondly, what is the best place in the game to gain ABP, and from what monster(s)?

Okay the ABP system in this game doesn't work for per monster but it gives you a certain amout per group, so say you fight one goblin and you get one abp, then next you fight three goblins in one battle it doesn't mean you'll get 3 abp it might be only 2 or whatever the set number happens to be. Its not a downgrading system so don't worry, the best place is at the very end of the game in the cleft of dimension you get like around 150abp per battle. The enemy called MOver gives you the most and you find the by the last save point, how convienent huh? Anyways I forget how much they give but its alot, oddly enough all the monsters around here give no exp what so ever.

Ok I have another question regarding ABP, and instead of making a new thread I'll just post it here.

When you use the ability !Catch to catch or capture a monster. Do you get the ABP for defeating the monster after the battle, or is it made nil since you captured the monster and didn't kill it?

For the APB system, I always thought that each enemy gave you a certain amount of ABP, then it would divide it by the number of party members you have and round it somehow. Not exactly sure though...

As for Catch, I'm pretty sure it just gives you nil, but I could be wrong.
