Most useless class?

If there weren't so many classes I'd make this a poll.

The title clearly expresses my question, which class do you feel is the worst and most uselsss of them all?

I always find that the Bard Class and the Geomancer class has almost no use at all. I didn't need the the fist time I beat the game, and I don't need them this second time I am playing.

Heh, no kidding.. (bout the poll)

But i'll have to disagree with you about that Geomancer.. +24 to Mag.Pwr isnt half bad, and when you have one in your party, you can walk over traps, find trap doors BEFORE you fall into them, and walk over lava without any hassle.. heh, he is technically a Black Mage with unlimited MP (!Earth costs no MP) so.. hmm.. he would be in my "Good class" list.. heh.

The Bard, yes.. i'd have to agree.. if he didnt teach you the !Song Ability (very NICE ability IMO), he would be rather useless.. since the class grants the character with -8 Vigor(Strength) and -9 Stamina(Vitality).. even with Protect/Shell up, he still gets beat up pretty damn bad.. heh.

Another Class on the useless list would be.. Dancer, for its -10 Stamina (setting aside the !Dance ability ofcourse) and shocking Defense.

Cant really judge any other classes as being inferior, they were all good for somthing.

Well..the bard was useful from time to time since the requiem song did quite the amount of damage to the undead....so that worked out pretty fine for me..same with the strength song and some others.

I haven't ever used a dancer..so I guess I hate them..hehe.
The geomancer was allright from time to time..the Earth ability was allright.

I didn't really like the red mage though..the 2 x 2 ability is useless since you can only use the firts couple of levels of spells...and no highlevel spells. I thought it would be a good class..but eventually it sucked...sozz Psiko ^^..but in this game he sucked!

Red Mages Rule! Blasphemy! Indeed, their abilities suck, but they look friggin cool. My RPB character is based around a red mage.

I think like in any game the bards suck (just look at ff4 and tactics!!) but the geomancer's earth skill I found fun to use and at times damaging too..

I will go with Bard, for all the same reasons said. If the person can't survive to attack a few times IMO he/she is a waste of my time.

I don't use Bards, Dancers, or Geomancers. I just don't find them useful, except for the Geo sometimes.

Dancers suck. They prove of no use to me. So they're my least fave job. Red Mage rocks. Very useful. Very useful. White mage is also very cool. Lots of good skills there. Geomancers dont suck. They're not bad. The stats arent too bad. But, i still dont use em.

The barbarian/berzerker (what was it called?) was an oustanding sucker. Followed by the dancer.

Dancers and Bards are statistically the lowest classes... and unfortunately, they're also the least helpful. A couple of good abilities from each, yes, but there's definitely nothing great enough to save these two classes in my eyes.

Equip redx2 (takes very long to get!) to a summoner or black mage and you got youself a killing machine!

As always, the bards have disapointed me and made me hate them. Their song abilities have some usess, but no where near enough to have me keep them in a slot. Plus having someone sing in battle....just seems rather....annoying lol. Although they suck, they are halarious to be, especially if they get pointy hats!

I was gonna make this thread, and here it is.

Well in my trek through the game I've seen almost all of the classes so far, except for Berserker as I just haven't made one yet.

IMO I think that Bard is the worst class in the game. The Dancer is pretty terrible, since her dancing is uncontrollable, but at least she heals herself and her MP, which combined with White Magic as a secondary is like giving her neverending Ether's for free. But Sword Dance just kicks ass, so the Dancer class isn't that bad.

However Bard really has nothing going for it aside from Requim. I mean beyond that, the Str Song is good, but the class is otherwise useless and you wouldn't want a Bard in any fight to which you'd actually need that continuous Regen put up from Str Song.

So they are easily the worst.

Red Mages aren't bad, but RedX2 isn't that great and for 999 ABP, it's a friggin joke. It's just another class to master for me, that's all. If they had Cure3, it wouldn't be that bad, but Cure2 and Bolt2 that late in the game are not going to be that big of a help.

I personally never used the Theif exept when stealling Wall Rings for extra cash. I'd say to me the most useless are the Bard and the Theif
