Inventory | I definitely prefer the ninja because of all of his kick-ass skills. The most obvious is Throw, which is awesome. But then, there's lots of other stuff you can do with a Ninja as well. Sunken State rules, because you turn invisible when you're hit. 'Nuff said. Move In Water can also be pretty useful if you're on a battlefield with, well, lots of water. But the true awesomeness of the Ninja is in Two Swords. It's really good by itself, but combined with other classes, Two Swords gives you the potential to be massively powerful. Learn Two Swords, then turn to a Knight or Samurai, and rip your enemies to shreds. Plus Ninjas give you massive speed bonuses when you level up. So yeah, Ninjas can be deadly killing machines, and that's what I like about them.

Inventory | Now that is definitely a very good aspect and thats why i personally cant choose between Ninja and Samurai. Best combo in my oppinion is Samurai with ninja. God those are true f***ing killing machines.

| The holy sword that smites evil!! Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Etria. Or High Lagaard. Two fave hanging places.
| I'd go definitely with Samurai, though it's a hard choice considering the overpowering Ninja. Ninja has Two Swords, granted, but you got to be careful when using Throw: it's no fun to lose a really powerful weapon because of a slip in the controller. Samurai, on the other hand, possess two of the most dangerous moves in the game: Draw Out and Blade Grasp. Granted, Draw Out eats Gil like popcorn, but the moves make it worthwhile. Murasame heals a very decent amount of HP, Kiyomori is one of the ultimate buffs (right there with MBarrier and Masamune drawn out) when used correctly, and Kikuichimoji, IMHO, is the poor-man's Holy Explosion. And Blade Grasp with 90+ Brave? Don't worry about physicals, ever, even when striking from the back. The class itself is rather weak statwise, but the skills are superb (so do Ninja, in a lesser scale). Strangely enough...still haven't heard of the Monk, a local favorite. Guess I'll hear of 'em soon enough. | ||||||||||||

Inventory | I like your arguement about the Samurai which is exactly why I love them so much. Those weapons not only look awesome but have damn cool (and strong of course) skills. i do have to disagree that the stats are weak though. As I remember Smaurai have some of the best stats right up there with Lancers and Knights. But as I said its a hard pick between Samurai and Ninja which I personally set about the same. Lancers are also very bad ass and are definitely second on my list then of course being Monk. Monk as ginab said are damn strong for having no weapon and have a really nice array of skills. None the less it doesnt top the Samurai and Ninja.

Inventory | Ok I'm dividing my post into to sections one is babysiting and the other is on topic. First things first, Favorite class is monk. Any Monk with high brave instantly becomes your main damage dealer. An solid all around class with an excessive amount of damage they can deal. Although they don't have alot of armor, they have average range and pretty solid speed. Combined with their mixture of healing and damage abilities, monks are a ridiculous jack of all trades. ---------------------- Now, as I said before and everyone should know if you are at this forums, there is some waht of a requirement for posting. It should be a complete thought. Even if it is a single sentence or mental cheer like "wahoo Samurai", for Christ sake just elaborate. And it isn't needed to respond to every single post. Consider these an unoffical warning to all of you that this applies to.

Inventory | you've never heard of the pirate job class? you take a proposition at warjilis trade city to find davey jones' locker. then you get the pirate job class. pirate's rule. they can use any item or weapon, and all they ever say is Gyah! they steal from enemies everytime they attack as well. they have increased strength standing on water as well. ^ if only all that was true. monk with two swords is pretty hardcore. does anyone know why the geomancer's attack is so crap? everytime i have a geomancer he/she always does about 50 damage, then orlandu is standing next to him racking up 700 damage. i hate geomancers, they have never saved me when i've been in a tight spot, nor won many battles for me.

Inventory | I quikly read over your poll but it seems that the monk is highly underrated ! I thought more ppl would realize that the bare hand ability is one of the most useful ability in the entire game! not only can it turn a mere mage into a killing machine but my Ramza has bare fist and that doulde slash on and sry for the lack of information but its been at least a year since i pisked the game up....But i belive its save the queen and excalaber on him> now that a lone gives him haste and about 1200 damage a hit ! email me if you wish to discuss this. Inventory | I personally always liked the shear damage a monk was able to inflict but couldnt stand his lack of defense which would make get massacred at times by certain enemies. I also dont know what you like so much about the bare hand ability. I think what your referring to is the two sword ability right? I mean how else can you use Excalibut and Save the Queen at the same time.
