FFT is a good FF game.You really need to think in this one, like on where to move, trying to predict the enemys moves, but it isn't my fav FF game 'cuz i like FF7 better(the Materia thing...). If it wasn't for this, this one would be my fav...

Tactics was alright but the other final fantasy were better. I think if it was such a good game they would of came out with a tactics a lot sooner than the advance. Umm all and all the games fairly good

Tactics are aweome. Its so addicting and fun. I can understand hating FFTA but why FFT?

I say its the best because it's the only final fantasy game i have.

FFT is the second best FF of all time. Only behind FF7.

Man...FFT was one of my favorite games ever! Next to FFVII that is. FFTs storyline was awesome, at the end it seemed like they kinda stopped trying, but it still rocked. The jobs were fantastic! I LOVE Monks and Knights with the ability "Two Swords" Major damage folks! Also, the graphics, the gameplay graphics that is, were my favorite out of every single game I've ever layed my eyes on! I LOVE that your just a little dude walking in one spot until it's your turn, man that's some awesome stuff right there. Also, The character designs were fantastic! Along with the graphics of the magic attacks and summon, Although the summons didn't even move, it was still awesome! I would play FFT over and over again, I recently got my copy stolen by someone,dont know who, and missed it so much I read a whole gamefaq about it! I LOVE this game!! AUGGHHH!

FFT was one of the best games ever!I dont think it had that great of a storyline but it was so fun to play,you couldnt really get bored of that battle system.And plus you get to choose characters with different jobs its great now FFTA was wha I call crap that was just ugh its so bad I cant even esplain how bad it is!

FFT is incredible. If anyone doesn't like it because they say it's repetative then thay must have not even looked over the story at all. Any diferance from chapter 1-4? I think so! Yeah the battle system is slow, but that's why it's so good, it's strategic, and differant which makes it a wonderful change. I think it's one of the best FF's out there and it's so differant, it's a truly incredibly great game!

I thought FFT was a great game. I like the jobs and all those cool abilities and I espicially liked using the summoner and nija class.And I really like the story line about a war and so on and so on. And you also get to have Cloud on your team.That is one of the highlights of the game. I would say the only bad thing about FFT is the way the battle system is.They should of stick with the normal FF system instead of some chess-style system to battle, and they should of have an overworld mao and go from place to place by walking on land instead of walking on a map.Thank god FXII is somewhat like a remake of it.

I thought FFT was amazing! It was so different and in many very good ways. I loved how many jobs there were and the way you learned from each one. And when I learned of The Deep Dungeon, I was hooked for another 100 hours! I absolutely loved everything about it! It did seem a little strange at first, but once I got into it, it was extrordinary (sp) how many things you could do with it!

i liked it because it has jobs,chocobos,little stones that hold pure evil.an you have to do stragety for the battles.

i tried showing my cousin the original game and he couldnt stand it but it was my second favorite one the battles take stratagy/tactics(aka tactics in the name) and if you dont like this game then you most liklly have only played it for about 3 hours because the beginning is all the start of the story and the real gamepaly that is unlocked later when you can combine difrent jobs and abillitied to your choice you might make a fighter with magic or a all out magic user or use monsters on your side there are many side quests in the game i think that the game is one of the most perfect final fantasy games all together. although if you like the games when all you go is heal and find the best items you can do that also. jsut to beat the game so you can go on to the next final fantasy games works also. the only real flaw in the game is you need a little patience. and that really isnt a flaw it is just another thing that can make the game good for some people and bad for others.

although i have got tired of losing the same battle so i jsut come back some other time and do it any ways.
but it being a favorite is a oppinion and it being good is also a oppinion it is still a vary good setup game and i really dont think that is a oppinion i meen you can do alot in the game.

well it takes alot for me to go through the first 2 battles in final fantasy tactics sure but those battles are there to help you learn how to play the game unlike some other RPG's where you start out doing 1000 damage and all the enimies are pieces of cake.(wild arms for four for example).
the beginning of most games are the part that you have to fight your way through because with progressive games like this you have to build yourself up. and the enimies have just as good of a chance to kill you as you them until you get farther in the game and the end of the game is the best part if you ask me.
the farther you get in the game the more chance you have to use diffrent jobs weapons armor accesories unlike the beggining when the only things you can use is what they give you.
i think that the beginning is just one step into a greater game. once you finnish that first step then the game gets good.
