FFT vs. FFT:A

It's so sad to see that very few of you have played FFTA.
I, on the other hand have never completed FFT, but have played FFTA. I think the graphics on FFTA are friendlier to look at. And just the overall feel... I would just have to say FFTA.

Well I would have to say that I prefer T over TA. I loved Tactics, but TA was not fun for me. I found it just wasn't fun, not to mention that even the first battle is a snowball fight. Now in tactics it's outside a church, with knights. One is much more fun and epic than the other, and I would have to pick Tactics in a second.

Dudes.. how can you compare FFT with FFTA.. hmm let's go over the basics

Battle music/music general- FFT Godly.. uncomparable

Secrets- I love the secrets and Deep dungeon Weapons and other things.. including Cloud.. which wasn't all that thrilling.

Poaching- God I loved poaching. and I hated it.. Every normal beast was poachable and gave normal or rare items

The characters- come on? TG Cid, The Pimp Elmdor, Wiegraf was also a pimp, Everyone in the game had some sort of role that was played rather well. Over all they had so many characters.. Good/bad/evil/eventic

I like FFTA better, its just...More articulation with my character, and I can do so much, plus if I kill cloud people will hate me >.<

Although I do wish tactics adv, would let you change the clothes of the main character...

FFT of course, better story, no judges, better jobs, it's my most favourite game.

Both games are egually fun but FFTA has the advantage because it's portable. And plus my FFT game got scratched and won't pay a certain part of the game. FFTA is more durable and portable, so of coarse I tip my hat in that direction. But of coarse if they made FFT for GBA... I would... I would... play the game.

Gonna have to say FFT...but that may just be my resistance to change.

FFT and FFTA are both good games. But in the end I think FFT is better.

I played FFT 3 times, and I only played the Advance once. Advance was good but I don't think it was nearly as good as the first one. The first one had alot better classes. It seemed like FFTA was just too different from the first, so I am going to have to say the first one too. Plus it had a better story too.

Both are really good games in my opinion.

FFTA is an awesome game. I like how you learn abilities your weapons or armor and need to learn the max AP it recquires. (Similar to FFIX.) Another thing I liked about the game was how it seemed creative. Graphics seemed nice for it being on the GBA and the plot was pretty good.

But I have to go with FFT. More jobs, longer game, more side-quests, more jobs, and a shitload of stuff. Also, they don't have judges like someone mentioned. Thank God!! I wouldn't want to hear that ****ing whistle blow and be penalized for something I did.

I picked FFTA because it's the only game I've ever played of the two. If I get the chance to play FFT, then I might pick that.

final fantasy tactics is the first square enix game i beat it was such a good game it set the story ffta and it wasn't as good as tactics but it did set the story for twelve
i pick tactics beacause its a classic

Iam going to have to side with FFT:A. Tactics was a good storyline but the graphics were poor which turned me off, and the skills starting out could have been better. Tactics Advanced has a colorful storyline, better classes, spells look way better, and the missions are fun.
