| The Old Skool Warrior | Okay, I almost hate to do this, but I have to stick up for FFT:A. Yeah, FFT is much better, but you can't really compare the two, either. The only thing they had in common is the fact that they're both strategy games and both involve Ivalice. FFT:A was in fact a great game, because it had a completely different style of challenges, like law cards and such. Yeah, it's a bitch, but that's what makes the game good. It makes you pissy when you break a law and get a yellow card. It makes you frustrated when you don't have the money to bail your characters out of jail. It makes you actually work, which is something a lot of gamers these days have issues with. I'm not saying that FFT didn't make you work either, so don't get ahead of yourself. You just can't put the games on an even plane of reference and then attempt to compare them. Notice how the only FFT:A votes come from people who have never played FFT. OF COURSE FFT is better. But FFT:A isn't a sequel like everyone thinks. If anything, it's more of a sub-game than a sequel. Like a side-quest or something. It's FFT's lesser sidekick. Which blows, because when you take FFT:A by itself, it's a really good game. Just not as great as its namesake. I think if they had removed Ivalice and the "Tactics Advance" title from FFT:A, it would have been seen as a much better game, because it wouldn't have to suffer through horrid comparisons like this one. Word.

Inventory | I like Tactics, but Tactics Advance is no slouch if you ask me. Tactics has the edge in the story, plot, character department, without question. BUT. TA has moogles, moogles are the best. Also, blue mages. Blue mages and moogles are the only things missing from Tactics. Also, I don't like the learning abilities from weapons thing, much, Tactics is definitely better, but I an thoroughly enjoying TA right now, too. If only for blue mages and moogles.

Inventory | Both are good, but the job system in FFT:A was a little messed. only race X could be job W... that added a lot, making you want every race in largers numbers in your party, but... 'Cause of that i'll stick with teh original, FFT

Inventory | I think that FFta sucked compared to FFT. FFT had so much to give us, and FFTA only gave a little story among the countless repetetive battles.

| アズテオ ル | I have to pick FFT, cuz it has more classes than on FFTA. I haven't played FFT b4 but I've seen it on video game magazines or online. FFTA, I have the game kinda sux cuz it doesn't have as much classes the FFT does, plus the character art drawings (human classes) all look like girls. So FFT for me. ![]()

Inventory | i've not played much of FFTA, because i don't have it, but my mate has got it, and i trust his judgement completely when it comes to RPGs, its not as good as Tactics. i knew this anyway, not many games are ever going to top FFT.

Inventory | Final Fantasy Tactics. I liked that FFTA had different races and that they had stripped away game play elements which I thought were unnecessary such as the zodiac signs. But the judges annoyed me to no end and the storyline was nowhere nearly as good as that of the original. FFT it is.

I sseriously thnk that FFT is better because in FFTA on certain races have certain jobs and i think that is kinda dumb. In FFTA you learn your moves from weapons, the only other game that I"ve played that made u learn moves from a weapon was FF IX adn that was a good game. FTT all the way ![]()
