Quina..Male or Female?!

OK, this is a simple Question.
What is Quina..Male, female or shemale?!!
I really have to know, and there's nuthin in the game prove his/her gender!!

The argument basically comes down to "No one knows". It's referred to as a he at times, then a she, and even a s/he. Some believe Quina's a female, but since Square didn't give us a lot of information to go on, most go with the s/he (she-male) theory.

I've always put Quina has a female. Her name ends with an A. In spanish most words and names that end with an A means female or something like that. Another reason I say Quina is a female is that all 8 characters you play (minus Beatrix) is you have 4 males, 3 females and an wtf? So I just put her in the female category.

I have a theory that Quina is a man. Has anyone noticed that you cannot equip 'female' equipment to him?

However, I think this is the only evidence I have... I not sure anyone knows really.

I don't know what Quina is but it was more annoying that Cait Sith. At least Reeve had some redeeming qualities. This character was one of the worst characters SE has come up with. Too bad there were no poison frogs in that game. Or were there and I didn't find then?

I agree with Grizzly in that Quina is Probably a s/he. I believe quina can equip some female epuipment (re: Lamia's Tiara). and...just....idk...quina is so Out there, I don't think s/he's smexy body can be classified as a gender XD LMAO

I consider Quina a female, despite all this random nonsense about no one really knowing for sure. After all, she did get "married" to vivi in one part of the game, cant remember which part for sure but you get my drift. And I don't think that the creators of FFXI really had in mind gay marriage, but thats just my opinion on it.

Have you taken Spanish? The letter a at the end of a word typically means feminine.

With that said, there is no gender for Quina. When you look at how spread out the race of Quan is, they would have to be asexual in order to be able to reproduce.

There is no telling what Quina is. If it is female, then it is just one ugly ass female and probably a bulldike. If it is a Male, I feel sorry for any woman that gets to drunk and has sex with it.

I always just pictures quina as being there. Not really a gender. There isnt anything that suggests Quina is male or female,the character is just a creature thats part of the game,it wouldnt matter in the game if it was male or female it wouldnt change anything but it is one of thsoe pondering questions.

I don't really know. I'd like to think that Quina is a girl, because yeah she got married to Vivi, but whenever I talk about him, I always refer to him as..."him." But Quina is by far one of my favorite characters EVER.
