Whos Better Eiko or Dagger?

I would say Eiko is better because she doesn't spend half the game to "stressed" to talk making it harder to use the spells she's accessed also she has mog and thats not something u get in a game everyday a moogle as a summon

When it comes to White Magic we all know Eiko has it in the bag, but she also was fairly annoying.
Garnet is all around better in my opinion, i just dont like Eiko -.- shes too.. talkative..

I love Eiko. She is so spunky, and she has a cute little crush on Zidane. It does kind of suck that she joins your party pretty late in the game, but I can forgive that because I like her as a character. Oh, and a moogle lives/hides in her dress.

I don't have any problems with Garnet, but I just like Eiko more.

Eiko, of course. It's not only her magic, but also her will. I hated Garnet for not being able to cast any magic in the middle of the game. It was just annoying that she didn't do anything because she was so.. depressed. Made her useless, although this might sound harsh. xD"
I liked Eiko as a character, too. She was a bit too talkative and perhaps a bit (much bits <_<") too young to be with Zidane, but she had a pure heart and she knew exactly what she wanted. That made her a better Mage than Garnet who didn't really have any clue what to do with her life. XD"
But at the end they were quite equal.

I'll make it a draw. Eiko is definitely better when you fight boss because of her Full Life spell and she also has every healing spell as Garnet. Garnet is much better when you fight regular opponents because of her summon ability especially Odin. But because Eiko was getting on my nerves a lot and I simply hated her I didn't used her at all.

I thought they both were very excellent, but i have to go with miss Alexadros. ^^
She had a very good storyline, and i just found out on DISC 2 that her and Eiko might be... Sister's. I dont know if im right because they have diffrent last name's but...

Garnet just felt like she had the better summons and the more common ones like Odin and Bahamut and she was already a high level when Eiko came around.
Was kind of one of those ones who just found Eiko annoying and couldn't handle her. Can handle Eiko now and her character is starting to grow on me and is starting to notice how powerful in battle she can actually be..

But Garnet all the way. Garnet kinda had a less frustrating persona and she had Bahamut....

It all depends. If you want a White mage who's main focus will mainly be healing and casting magic? I would go with Eiko, Holy is such an awesome spell in the game, it's like having another black mage. She only has a few summons but if you equip the right add on they can be very useful. Like the one that casts haste on the whole party.

If you want more summoning? Dagger would be the best choice, Ark is the best summon in the game IMO as well as using Bahamut. She only really uses Cure spells, since she doesn't have that good of damaging spells.

IMO it's what you really want to use, summons or magic.

i prefered dagger, cuz she seemed to heal me more when i needed it. eiko just never really helped me out. i used everyone, so they could learn everything they could, but in the end, my team is zidane, dagger, vivi, and steiner.

but then just that dagger has better summons

Having holy is a big plus for Eiko, since it doesnt cost a whole lot of MP, and it is far more reliable in damage output than summons. Her Full-life is also a Win. For me, just her having Full-Life is reason enough, seeing that they both had Curaga, even though Eiko had less summons, I still used them both equally.


I think the big reason Why I used Garnet a little less in battle, is because you dont even get to use her summons until you are about to leave for the Outer continent, at which point you get Ramuh. Fenrir, which Eiko comes with, has significantly higher attack power, and Eiko also gets carbuncle right away which can be used. For Eiko, I used Maiden a a lot, it also really helps in the Final battle. To be honest though, I only really used Maiden for Eiko and Bahamut for Dagger/Garnet. Ark was a fantastic summon, but his cutscene was far too long, so I only used him when I really needed it.

But you cant get any other summons for Garnet until disc 3, when she fails with every other attempted cast, until you get concentrate.

I honestly think that Dagger is the better of the two because she has a more deep back story that you learn about than Eiko. Also, to find out that Dagger is infact adopted played a big part of the story that I enjoyed, I thought that it was a very nice twist in the storyline.

Actually I have to say that I liked Eiko better. She was cute and energetic. ^^ Her and Vivi are so cute.

In truth and game wise, Dagger is better, her summons are stronger but eiko's white magic is better. She has Holy after all.

Dagger tends to fail summon via losing concentration but stats wise and beauty she is the best.

I have to say that Eiko is better once you get her,but later on Dagger umm I guess you could say gets better summons and white magic.So my answer is Dagger.
