Vivi what really happened 2 him in the end????

I havent played FF9 in a while but i was thinking bout it a few days ago and somethings bothering me.

Remember how at the ending you see puck bumps into that vivi and vivi dosnt know who he is at first and then says hes vivi's son and then you see all the other vivi's come along.

i just wondering where is the real vivi???? i mean i saw the one say he was his son then 10 others come along but i dont know if one of them it the real one they didnt act like it. does the mean the vivi and stopped like his brothers and the vivi's we see are new black mages that were made in vivi's image cause i done remember seeing any female black mages not that u can really tell lol.

I might have just forgot and i dont wann go play it all over agin just 2 answer this and i might not get my answer.

I think the real Vivi is still alive after all he isn't like the other Black Mages As for the little Vivi's maybe he and well.. Eiko got it on?! After all Eiko falls in and out of love with Zidane, and seeing how lonely Vivi was maybe... well who knows Or maybe they made Vivi image black mages in Dail lol. That might be a possiblity ^-^'

A possibility I think could've happened at the end of the game was that Vivi was cloned like the Black Mages were. I doubt that he was doing the nasty with Eiko especially since he's 9 or 8 years old I'm guesing. He hasn't even hit puberty yet!

But Vivi's still a pimp and I think that he was just cloned to have other mages like him.

That's a good question though, what did happen to Vivi? It's not like they could have created any more black mages, seeing as how all of the mist had been gone for a while after that. I hope, also, that the people who made the black mages didn't put THAT much detail into them so that they had genitals... that would just be... terrifying. This annoys me, I guess they just somehow did it with magic... gah! xD

That is a good question. Like someone had said, Vivi is alive and that is really his sons. If not then I am really stumpted.

I think Vivi "stopped" which is very sad, but don't you think that we would have heard him say something otherwise? Especially when they all went past Puck, since he was his first friend. Poor Vivi. How the whole kids thing happened though, I have no clue. Maybe they just threw that in there to mess with us.

I think he lived with his friends and made the most of his time before finally stopping. I think he accepted his death and saw it as a chance to see his friends again from the black mage town.

vivi eventually stopped after having children, who knows how but whatever. yes vivi wasnt a "regular" black mage but he still was one, just took longer to stop.

I think he went back to Dali at some point and cloned himself so there would be more black mages with a "heart" like in Alice In Wonderland because Viva didn't particularly like the black mages that were being cloned because they were like drones and they probably drooled alot.

Vivi was an ideal model. He lived for 10 years for christs sake! I assume they began to make mages identical to Vivi so that they could live an actual life not just a couple months or something. I assume Vivi stopped.

wow lots of replys and im still stumped lol, but i do think vivi made more black mages because most of them were dead after all, but i still also think they managed to find a way to cure them so they could live on and vivi made more to continue the black mage race.

I don't think Vivi had "stopped moving". I think he just had a little black mage family with someone to cure his lonliness.

I think it meant that Vivi has actually stopped but his memories live on in the new mages, just like the game was banging on about for the entire 4th disc.

Don't have a clue how they were made though considering there was no more mist.

I like these endings that leave themselves open for people to make their own theories.

I presume he stopped, but after how long I don't don't, afterall he was a different kind of model, new and improved. As for the other black mages that seemed to be built in his likeness, maybe they're ones he rescued that had already built and were just being stored somewhere. He took them on as kids and treated them as a father would, till he a) either stopped, or b) he's still going, maybe there was a way to keep them going and they found it out. I sorta hope b) as it would be a shame if all the black mages just dies off with no replacements.

I never noticed that. I didn't think that Black Mages had children. After all they were created. I don't know how he got children with the mist being gone. It is pretty much a mystery to me. I would guess that he got them from the black mage village and adopted them as his own. As for him stopping I'm also not sure. He might of, he might not have stopped. It did not seem to specify any of these questions in the game. Your guess is as good as mine.

I don't want to think Vivi stopped. He was probably amongst one of the mages running in. They probably think of him as a dad since my guess is he tried to teach them about life and such.

He lived on through the end of the game. And marries Eiko =).

This is probably one of those open ended things like in FF8. Let's you come up with your own conclusion. I like finality =/
