Yeh i agree with most, there isn't a real need to remake 9. It's good enough as it is! Seven on the otherhand would be worth revamping because the graphics that are possible now are SO MUCH more outstanding than its current ones.
Maybe in a few years time when graphics get even better (i dont ask for much hey xDD) then talk about remaking IX. A IX-2 wouldn't be so bad... =)

It is a great game but there is no need for a remake or sequel. They should make a sequel to FF VIII, the story wouldn't be to linear but you would do SeeD missions.

FFVIII movie = difficult. Witches are dead, Seifer's peaceful what's your story? how does it link to the original?. And much more. Plus I seem to have some mad idea, Square said they'd do a FFIX movie first.
Plus FFVIII in NO way deserves a sequel over FFVII. On the remake subject No. Better graphics what else? Nothing, case closed |

I would love a seqeal.I made the pesnoatilys of Vivi kids.One is the oldest and keep a good eye on his little brothers(he that one Puck run into),the second is very rude and rushing into everything....and a couple more.In battle they can act like one character and throw magic attacks all together.I also got a storyline.Necron is trying to break into Gaia causing so call "mist-holes".His secvant is finding a way to let him break into Gaia and his sevarnt is.....duh,duh,duhhhhh.....Black Waltz 3.
Why can they make a seqeal?!?!?!

No, because the game really wasn't made that long ago. 1999, I believe, and the graphics wouldn't be that significant of a difference. I'd rather Square just focus on making more quality Final Fantasies then rehashing the same FF games with improved graphics.

If they make a remake of ANY FF game, it should be VII or VIII... but that's just me.... -.-

No offer to FF7 but it did have quite bad grapics.It needs a remake but that's just me...but with FF9 it wouldn't be that different if a remake was made.It's looks pracaly a PS2 game and it's on the PS1!!!!That's what I think....

If there is one Final Fantasy that should never ever be remade its this one... Why remake this one when you can remake another "better" final fantasy like VIII, VII or any of the others. And remember its only been like 7 years since it came out, you need to wait much longer than that to remake something.
The graphics in IX were unrealistic and kind of cartoonish, so it wouldnt really be anything special with new graphics. It is fine how it is now so we dont really need an "improved version". |
