Even though he has very effeminate features (and many male FF characters do) he is a guy. A very pretty guy. A guy so pretty it makes me doubt my fangirlness for Sephiroth. (I still love you more Sephy). I could go on and on about how very pretty Kuja is, but then you would all think that I have problems. I do, but I would like to keep those secret for just a little while longer.

I also don't think he's gay. Didn't he have a thing for Hilda, Cid's wife? He kept her in that room at Mt. Gulug and told her all his plans and she even said that he was quite a gentleman? Maybe I'm just thinking to hard about it.

People he wears makeup to hide he is a genome because he hates what he is( how would you like it if you were out of date and going to be replaced as leader of the genomes and then be trashed?) and might I add that the genomes are not genderless cuz if you'll remember zidane has a sister who's name I can't remember and his brother kuja which the story made obvious and if they were than is zidane a genderless person who in that case would definitely not have feelings for dagger.

To me the genomes all appeared to be rather androgynous, even Zidane did not have a very 'masculine' appearance. Bear in mind that Zidane wears quite baggy clothes over an extremely skinny body (and he does seem rather 'wide' at the hips) as well as going bright pink when he goes into Trance. Look at all the genomes wandering about Bran Bal; they all have the same slender, androgynous bodies. Perhaps Kuja was meant to embody those androgynous qualities? Plus, the name Kuja does not sound very feminine, and I am quite sure it is a direct translation of his Japanese name.
