Well I think Necron is actualy Yoda, Yes I do and yes that game wus way to pushover but it had a good way of going about things like you split up well what are the others doing? Call me Crazy But I found Dagger usefull not only cuz of the summons but protect and all that but she dose get useless if you lurn all the Skillz like Auto-Flot and Auto-Regin then she is pointless wich is also funny cuz Ark has status defects and you dont evin know cuz he kills them insted and if their to strong to be killed their imune.Sorry.

One word FMVs i think this final fantasy had the best FMVs of all of them. I did not like trance it was a bit to powerful but other than that i really like the battle system. the story was really good i liked the villan aswell. kuja was simply a badass (even though he looked kinda like a chick ) the jesters were really funny to even though i hate clowns and they scare the crap out of me. some of the best support characters of the final fantasys. This is not my favorite final fantasy but it is in my top three. You really have to finish the game to get into it.

Well as my first post on these forums I'll use it to say that I really did enjoy this game because of the characters mainly and the more traditional battle system minus trance. I thought the card game, although not as good as 8's, was pretty entertaining and everyone fails to mention Quina. S/he is the most unique (although sometimes pointless I know) character I have ever played with and I thought the blue magic thing was kinda neat. You couldn't help but laugh when Quina said anything that tried to sound serious and philosophical on life. And who didn't love catching frogs?! honestly people. And i agree with everyone about the awesome music.

2. The plot... Just did not stack up to the others. Also the characters were a major let down.
3. The battle system was a dramatic change from VII and VIII. I did not like that only certain people could do certain things. And, about summoning. Summons are my favorite things about FF games... If I can only summon with a character I don't plan on using...ugh! Plus, it takes along time for you to ever get to use a summon.
1. And what about Final Fantasy I - VI. Were the characters from those games not like midgets? And Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Eiko were in fact still only children.
2. You say that You only got to the end of Disc 2 - You cannot rate the plot and the characters when You don't know everything.
3. On the contrary - that was what I really liked about IX, that all the characters were unique even in battle.
