For me? My favorite is Vivi's "Doomsday" spell its wicked powerful and cool too!

I also would've voted for doomsday only if your party ain't damaged as well.

My favorite would have to be Comet and Meteor. I like non-elemental spells.

I would have to agree with Huntress Krystle i like meteor i think non-elemental macic is the best.

Steiner can still use Doomsday w/o collateral dmg...
but i like the ailment inducing Grand Cross by Necron....paralyzing/weakening oppenent is where it all starts...

Personally, i thought No Mercy was the best spell, 12MP for a good bit of non-elemental damage? i like the sound of that! oh shit, are we allowed to include Amarants Flair abilities? Oh well, they are spells i guess!

I didn't really like the Magic in FFIX, I was really bummed out when I found out they replaced Ultima with Doomsday. Being Fire-elemental and all, (*cough*) my favorite spell would be Firaga! It's just nice and reliable, and if it's the opponents weakness you can do massive damage. Also it's handy for quick battles, to eliminate all the enemies in one turn without consumin gtoo much MP.

Well I aint beat it but I'm at Pandemonium.I like Float cause u see characters float*duh* and it just saved me in a battle against the earth fiend-Lich.But I only have comet and the aga spells at this point.

PS is it possible to have any other powerful spells at this point in the game?
