Which forest are you talking about Mako? Did you mean Evil Forest? Do you know what your location is called?

No im not talking about Evil Forest, It's called Dark Forest and its on Disc 2, it leads you to the Black Mage Village and is full of owls, there are two paths you can go down but both take you back to the exact same place you started...remember?

ohh ok your talking about the Southeast forest on the Donna Plains. Ok. try going right, left, left, and right. If that isn't right I'll help as much as i can.

Oh I know what you are talking about. In order to get to the Black Mage village I think you need to go to the path were there are owls and you don't go to the path that doesn't have owls.I could be wrong, but I hope this helps you.

You Can Find Hades in Memoria ( The Final Area ). But, you have to Fight him to use his services. He's in the room where quina swims. He to the far right of the screen to start.

Yeah. He's pretty easy to beat when battling him. Just attack and use some strong magic attacks and you'll do good.

Does anyone have any tips on beating the lamest boss in FF history, Ozma? Everytime I knock off half (if not more) of his HP, he just uses Meteor (Comet?) or Curse and kills off my party.

First, make sure you have the friendly monsters side-quest done, this will allow you to do physical attacks on him.

The friendly monsters quest, for those who don't know is as follows

Through the game, you might have met some monsters who were begging for certain items in random encounters, with a different theme. They were the friendly monsters. Here comes the list.

Mu: Meet him in the forest near the Evil Forest, or you can find him in the
area around Dali as well. He wants an Ore.
==========
Ghost: In the forest completely west of Treno(near the mountains). He also
wants an Ore.
==========
Colour Lady Bug: In the forest around Black Mage village, or simply on the
grass, she wants 2 ores.
==========
Yeti: In the forest just north of Madain Sari, he wants two Ores. He can
appear on the grass south of the village too.
==========
Nymph: She appears in the forest or on the grass around the Lifa Tree. She
wants 3 ores.
==========
Jabberwock: There's a forest(shaped like a star) east of Oeilvert on the
Forgotten Continent, you'll find Jabberwock there and he wants an Emerald.

Feather Circle: On the lost continent, he appears on the snow near the
chocobo tracks, as well as near Esto Gaza, he wants a Moonstone.

Rainbow Garuda: Remember at Gizamaluke’s Grotto during disc 1, after helping
out of the Moogle couple, you could climb out on the World map to battle
tough enemies(for that point I mean). Well, the Rainbow Garuda will appear in
the forests around there. He wants a Lapis Lazuli.

Yan: At Vile Island southwest of the lifa Tree(can only be accessed with a
Gold Chocobo or with the Invincible). Search the forest to meet a friendly
Yan. However, you need to have given the right items to every friendly
monsters or else he will flee. He wants an Emerald.

As for the boss fight itself, you're going to need some shadow absorbing equipment, this will nullify and sometimes heal you when he uses his Doomsday attack... which is fairly often if i remember correctly. Of course it goes without saying you'll need everyones ultimate weapons who you plan on using. The abilities you should look at having for this fight are Auto-Haste (ozma attacks extremely fast), Auto-Regen (i think the benefits of this are obvious), Auto-Life, Clear Headed (this will block some of the status effects he will inflict on you), Body Temp (this should block the Heat and Freeze effects) and Antibody (this blocks poison). Of course you'll need a bit of luck when fighting him, as his attacks are very random at times, but having the above mentioned quest done and having the abilities will help greatly.

I pretty much have all that you listed. All four of my characters absorb Shadow damage and two of them absorb Holy damage (the other two don't need too because their level isn't a multiple of four) so Lv 4 Holy doesn't hurt, it even heals two of them. No'one level is a multiple of 5, so that negates Lv 5 death. Flare and Flare Star always kill one of my party members. I'm right in thinking I can't reflect Flare, right? But I can reflect Mini? Because that can be a b1tch. It's Meteor and Curse that hurt the most. Meteor does 9000+ damage on 3 of my characters if they're at full health and Curse either kills everyone or takes them down to low health with mini and poison.

Have you got any suggestions for party members to use? If I go to Memoria and get Vivi's Mace of Zeus, will I be able to get back to the world map? Doomsday would help a lot.

A good party setup would be Zidane, Quina (blue magic is extremely useful if you have the time to get some of the better spells), Steiner and Freya... Those 4 in my eyes are the best to beat pretty much most of the game.

You'll want to power up Freya's Dragon Quest so it does 9,999 damage, to power it up i believe all you have to do is kill Dragons with Freya in your party.

For Quina the important Blue Magic spells are White Wind and Angels Snack. Angel Snack will get rid of the Mini status effect, or it should do.

Also try not to enter in too many commands at once, like having all your members attack at once, try and hold back on one incase he uses meteor or status effects so you can cure them as soon as possible.

Any idea how many Dragons I need to kill to get Dragon Crest to 9999 damage? I think it's at about 4500 at the moment.

Do you know if I can go get Vivi's Mace of Zeus from Memoria and return to fight Ozma?

I'm pretty sure you can. Considering Memoria isnt just a one time thing.

Well for fray I think you should equip the dragon-killer ability which will increase its power and just keep on killing thos dragons to increase it I think.

And its possible to go back to Memoria more than once. As for Ozma, he's pretty hard, but hopefully you kick his a**.

Well I've got to the Crystal World save point and there's an option to teleport back to Memoria's entrance which means I can get back to the Invincible. But on the Memoria entrance save point, there's no option to teleport back to the Crystal World.

I take it I'll have to walk all the way back there? -.-

Yeah you have to walk all the way back to Crystal World I believe. That's the thing I hated about this part of the game though.

on disc 3 when eiko is kidnapped by kuja an you have to go save her is there a easier way to defeat thorn and zorn when they combine?

Equip Anitbody on all your characters.
Equip Devil Killer on your physical attackers.
Just have your physical attackers attack while you have another character heal.

Keep doing that and he should go down pretty quickly.

i was wondering if it was possible to get an add-on or something like that with the no-encounters ability or feature.
