If Freya was more physically assertive, I'd choose her as a favourite. Her Dragon skill is invaluable for tacticians, while her Jump ability is priceless. Especially when empowered with Trance. Amazing stuff.
However, Beatrix. Flawless character, albeit low MP/HP values when she's playable. As an NPC, she effing owned the party every time. Shock annihilated every time, along with Thunder Slash dealing good damage. I could never get Thunder Slash to connect when used with Steiner though... So yeah, Beatrix. But for the sake of the...terrible poll, I'll vote Freya. |

Favorite FFIX Character
My favorite character in Final Fantasy IX is Zidane because well first he's a thief, my favorite ability. Second he lives a life without anybody telling him how to live his life. Third he has a great taste in women like cute Garnet.

I find Garnet the best of all the FF female characters. Sweet, gentle, well spoken, cute beyond all reason. And most importantly, a princess to be saved by her knight. Though the knight, I must admitt, failed a little in being so. I don't really like Zidane. He's far too much like a monkey.

Garnet is my favorite, She looks like a chibi Rinoa, but is kindof the opposite of how rinoa was. Zidane is dumb, sorry.
 I want a replacement!*Chibi Squall jumps out of a void and glomps Garnet* Other than that though is Freya, she is kewl!!!

My favorite FFIX character is Zidane all the way. I mean, he was always like 10 levels ahead of all my other characters because you're forced to have him in your active party at all times and because I trained Zidane the most.
