My favourite is Vivi all the way. He reminds me of 8 bit black mage, and his personality.

My fav. Character is Vivi because he is so young and I feel that most of the game has to do with him and his problem to find the truth.

I can't really decide between Vivi and Freya. Both had really good background stories and abilities were alright. I truely like them both.

I like all the characters exept for Amarant and Eiko. Though if I were to choose an absolute fav it would be Zidane because he is very good hearted and understands or trys to understand and help everyone with their problems, oh and he is funny in certain parts of the game.

Quina would have to be my second because he/she it both or whatever the damn thing is, is just so ****ing crazy and funny.

Oh how I love Vivi in all matters. He is just so cute and so different. He is a good magic caster and I love characters casting spells and black magic. Plus, he has no face, just a pair of eyes and a black face, oh, he didnt have a face. And he is just so adorable. Well, Quina comes in close second. He/She is very twisted. From the tongue, to the utensils, to the family members, to the attitude, and betcha, the skills are rockin'! I love Vivi and Quina, they are very made cool!

If Freya was more physically assertive, I'd choose her as a favourite. Her Dragon skill is invaluable for tacticians, while her Jump ability is priceless. Especially when empowered with Trance. Amazing stuff.

However, Beatrix. Flawless character, albeit low MP/HP values when she's playable. As an NPC, she effing owned the party every time. Shock annihilated every time, along with Thunder Slash dealing good damage. I could never get Thunder Slash to connect when used with Steiner though...

So yeah, Beatrix. But for the sake of the...terrible poll, I'll vote Freya.

Favorite FFIX Character

My favorite character in Final Fantasy IX is Zidane because well first he's a thief, my favorite ability. Second he lives a life without anybody telling him how to live his life. Third he has a great taste in women like cute Garnet.
