I like Zidane the best because he gets into some entertaining situations, such as "marrying" Dagger / Garnet at the Dwarf village just to pass through, and I like his weapons / skills / fighting style, he has a tail lol, and he's quite the ladies man too!

My favourites are Steiner and Beatrix. Although we don't see Beatrix most of the time I really like her abilities, weapons, outfit and personality. And I like Steiner's nagging and generally Steiner-ness.
And I think Steiner and Beatrix are the cutest couple. xD

I guess my favourite character is Vivi because of his personality development.
But Beatrix definitely should have been in the list; along with Eiko, Kuja, Cid and some others.

I love Vivi. He was frickin' awesome. I loved the character, and he looked sweet.

Steiner was pretty wiked, his attack skills were pretty high and his Magic sword was really effective. His personality-wise was a bit over dramatic Knight, but he was just doing his duty, plus he wanted to be respected more than beatrix and I also felt sorry for him for his sad attempt of being a Leader. The Knights of luto were pathetic, none of the did anything but all-inall steiner did a pretty good job being a royal knight and all and eventually he accepts Zidane as not a Thief or bandit or murderer, but a ally,

Due to the end of the game you see him accept him.

People think of him as a annoying grunt but he was pretty cool. Plus i think Eiko and vivi are too over rated, good story behind them buts its too mellow dramatic, I didnt really care.

Ya I gotta go with Zidane. Love his weapons and the fact that he can steal. He also has a really intersting storyline. Oh not to mention that his dyne abilities are rediculously good.

i definetly have to say dagger!..shes so awesome..i love her story. when i first started playing the game she seemed kind of whiney but after awhile i started to understand her. shes really strong...i loved it when she cut her hair..it took alot..i did the same thing but i was pissed..lol

Zidane. He was just such a fun character. And he was very noble and heroic for being the theif that he was. Sorta reminds me of another FF thief I know. Now who could that be.

My all time favorite was Sir Fratley it sucks u couldn't use him though.

Steiner all the way! I always admire characters that are loyal and never give up. And he was the funniest and strongset in the game.
