How do i get the pink tail for the adamant armor?

You need to find a flan-like monster called a Pinkpuff. It is in the Lunar Subterrain in only one room and can only be encountered randomly. Then when you finally encounter them and defeat them, I think they have a 1/64 chance of dropping the pink tail.

Actually, its 1/64 to find a pink puff, and 1/64 to find a pink tail drop from those monsters. Doing the math, thats like 1/4096...sooo umm god luck

Actually the monster's name is Flan Princess (at least in Final Fantasy IV Advance). There is one room in the Lunar Subterrain 5th floor that there is only one box with a Red Fang inside. That's the room where the Flan Princesses appear. There is a little trick that gives you the chance to fight them many times. As soon as you reach that room, choose the Quicksave option. Then the start menu will appear. Choose Continue and press the B button. Then choose Continue again, and then choose the Yes option. You will either fight a group of five Flan Princesses or fight one Silver and one Gold Dragon and after that three more bone-looking dragons (forgot their names) and then the five Flan Princesses, again. You can do that as many times as you want, and you'll get too much money and EXP. I've done that too many times but I still haven't got the Pink Tail. Then after getting the Pink Tail head to the village of Mythril (Northern to Mysidia) and don't forget to move the hovercraft there, too. Then head eastern in another small island using your hovercraft, and you'll find a cave. Give the Pink tail to the man inside and he will exchange it for Adamantine. Then go to Kokkol's Smithy in the Underworld and give him the Adamantine to create the Adamant Armor, the best Armor in the game. Good luck.

Well your gonna have to keep goin son, because thats the only way you can get the Pink Tail. It'll pay off tho that Adaman Armour is really something to behold.

Well....its simply to torture gamers....

I remember getting omnislash and W-summon weren't that hard to get in FF7. Heck, even Omega weapon was easier in FF8 to beat compared to gettin that pink tail!

Ok...i've killed nearly 300 of em, 285 to be exact, and not one of those lil princess' have given me a tail. Now i ask, since this method allows for encounters, does it allow for pink tails also?

The encounters will eventually lead to tail drops. Unfortunately, there is no real shortcut, other than the Flan Princess encounter trick.

So how many on here have actually gotten the pink tail? I've got the pink tail a handful of times...but I've never been able to get the Imp summon, the lilith staff, or the artemis bow. Go figure.
