Making your own team

If you could make your own team using any character from the story, (excluding Zemus/ Zeromus. he's just to good.) who would you choose?

Out of those poll choice's I'd take up Rydia actually.. would be interesting to see the story expand from Mist Village as opposed to Baron bombing the shit out of things lol. Mind you I like the story as it progresses normally but a little edit here and there never hurt none.

I would pick FuSoYa! U would be able 2 c Cecils parent at the start and u would have every magic spell in the game.

I would have Tellah becuase of all the spells

sorry brachioraidos, FoSoYa is cecil's UNCLE. Remember, he said his brother went to earth on the whale ship, then married someone there. I personally would have Edge or Rydia, Edge is wickid awesome, and Rydia's powerful "baham"

I don't know I actually liked starting of with Cecil, but I agree with Dawezy it would be cool to see what was taking place in myst village before they met up.

Edwrad because I want to see if there is any specific reason for the annoying hide ability. Edge because he is awsome.

I would pick FuSoYa. Its because he has every magic spell in the game and i really didn't know too much about his past . Rydia would be a close second to find out how was her life like before the bombing in her village.

Kain since he is the most interesting character IMO. You could see the origin of the love triangle between Cecil, Kain and rosa and even see how he met Cecil through his life.

I'd pick more of final fantasy 7 ,so we canlearn what Sephiroth did and went through!

I think that Tellah is the most suitable for starting character because you can raise his levels and teach him some new spells. FuSoYa is also good and that's why you shouldn't have him from the start. He is very powerful and the games becomes piece of cake.

Kain. He is the most interesting as well as the most unexplained character in the game. Nobody knows how he became a dragoon, nobody knows how he and Cecil met, and nobody knows anything about him other than that he has an interest in Rosa, and is friends with Cecil at the same time.

yet again its an obviouse choice lol.
i choose rydia because of her story and what it would have been like to go to the land of the monsters that early in the game.

Yes, that would be really cool. Nice idea Dawezy! It would be interesting if we got to see Rydia's side of the story from the beginning. I reckon she would have made an awesome main character. Kain would have been a cool main character as well considering he is mysterious. I'm happy with Cecil being the main character though lol, I thought he was a great character.

i would choose Kain!HOW KAIN BECAME A DRAGOON:in ff2 yuo meet the last dragoon exept for a boy named Kain.the character says he will father him under the surname HIGHWIND!

Excellent, albiet late, observation there. Richard Highwind has a son named Kain. Kain wants to grow up to be a dragoon like his father.

Spoiler: Richard dies in battle by sacrificing himself to save the party from the demonized Emperor Palamecia. In certain non-dumbed-down versions off FFIV, Kain makes mention of his father. He says that he trained to be a dragoon, just like him. He also mentions that his father died in battle. In FFIV, Kain is found by King Baron as an orphan. We are left with the question, "How did Kain's mother die?" I assume she died in the undisclosed time between FFIIj and FFIV. The Emperor had been defeated, leading to the dissolution of the empire. One would assume that new kingdoms would be established, and would logically wage war against each other. Which is essentially where FFIV begins. However, this theory is only valid if the worlds of FFIIj and FFIV are one and the same.

But alas, I have digressed. I think that Cid would be a cool character to have a story based around.
