Tellah vs. FuSoYa

Tellah wins because it would never come down to magic. He would so verbaly belittle FuSoYa the he would run away crying, and then he would die of shame. Why would he die, because everything Tellah would say would be true:

"Your momma was a snowblower" (you have to be old to get this one)
"Go and hide like the coward you are"
"I'm smarter than you"

Take your pick. Even add ones of your own. Nothing could top the "You spoony bard though.

FuSoYa is better than Tellah. He has all the Magic spells, like Tellah plus Regen. Moreover, he has more HP and MP and he is superior to Tellah at any rate. Eventhough I prefer Tellah for many reaons (man, he killed himself ) FuSoYa is better.

In a battle, well, i guess the wind would favor FuSoYa...mainly because he has a greater arsenal and i believe a greater hp/mp. However the spoony bard line was priceless so maybe Tellah could say something like that and stun FuSoYa, to then finally bolt him to his pitiful demise

Tellah's got Spunk and FuSoYa has BEARD. Technically they both lose to eachother and have to be sent to their rooms for nap time and all the other fun stuff senior citizens deal with.

So its a draw!

They are essentially equal in battle. They have more or less the exact same spells, both are excessively old, and both have pitiful HP. As with most 1-on-1 battle threads like this, it comes down to who goes first.

Whoever manages to cast a high level spell first would wipe out the other in a single attack.

Let's leave aside the fact that the battle would be unfair.If so,i think that FuSoYa yould kick Tellah's ass.His experience greater,his magic much more advanced,him being a lunarian against a puny human...Other than that they both suck.It's harder to KO Edge than FuSoYa with a triple protect & shell.

Definitely FuSoYa.
It has been mentioned several times why.
The fact that Tellah STOPPED growing at some point irratated me big time. For me, FFIV was the most challenging FF on the first playthrough and I was almost dead when I reached another save-point in some stages. Especially with Tellah in my party; since he had so little MP, I could not effectively use his Black Magic.
Therefore, Tellah would not stand a chance against FuSoYa. He wouldn't even have the proper motivation to cast Meteo and kill himself, unlike with Golbez in front of him.

I agree that FuSoya would win as far as use goes. But I chose Tellah for the sole purpose of the "Spoony Bard" quote. Yes it may have just been a silly translation goof, but it was one of my favorite gaming moments of all time.

fusoya would win because he has more spells and tellahs hp and mp are way to low to last in most fights with a super strong fighter unless in the back row fusoya just has way better stats and spells

It's rather obvious since Tellah's magic would most likely not be able to harm FuSoYa that much, while FuSoYa could just hit Tellah with a few Flare's.

If Tellah tried to cast Meteor, the time it takes to use would be enough time for FuSoYa to finish him.

FuSoYa is better than Tellah. From what I remember FuSoYa had a lot more MP which is great. I'm sure his stats were way better. I also think he is better because he can cast Meteo and live unlike Tellah who casted Meteo and died. I'm sure FuSoYa would win!

ok, im seeing alot of people choosing FuSoya over Tellah because of his stats. well how about we just say that stats are the same for both, magic attack power is the same defense, etc. who would you choose then?

FuSoYa, because Tellah badely injured Golbez and died, but FuSoYa KILLED Zemus and lived!
(But, of coarse, he DID get later owned by Zeromus)

I would have to go with FuSoYa. Why? Lets see...both Tellah and FuSoYa have strong magic, same spells, and are powerful mages, but FuSoYa has more experience and is wiser then Tellah. Tellah forgot some of his magic till it cam back to him. He'd probably forget again. >.< But seriously, FuSoYa would just kick his ass.
