If it were possible, I'd want to be a character along the lines of a Samurai/Summoner. First, you'd have the raw physical power of the samurai's blade. Then, in a pinch, the summoning power would kick in to save your party's asses. This type of character would be, in a word, AWESOME!!!

Strong black magic
strong white magic
every white spell
every black spell

good agilty
good defence

In FF4 I would choose to be Sage.Tellah is very strong because he can use both white and dark magic. I really like meteor,but it comsumes a lot of MP. Anyway I tink that sages are the most powerful and useful characters in FF4

To those who want to mix classes, i.e. have uber physical power and uber attack magic, here is the problem I have with that. First of all, think in realistic terms. How does one get to be an excellent physical fighter? By training right? Well, in order to be the best at using weapons, one must train constantly in order to be able to deal the most damage in battle.

Similarly, how does one become a great wizard/mage/sage/whatever? By studying magic of course! Someone like Tellah has studied both white and black magic his entire life, and he still cannot use every spell. FuSoYa is probably very old, much older than Tellah even, which is why he was able to learn every spell.

Now take Edge as an example. Edge's physical attacks are okay, his throwing is good, and his magic is probably below average. Edge can use a lot of things, but none of them are amazing because he spent time training each one. There is a limited time to train, and one cannot expect to be the best at both might and magic.

Using the logic I have gone through, it would be impossible to be the best physical fighter and the best magic user at the same time in a realistic fantasy world. You can't have the best of both worlds. If you want that, play Final Fantasy VII and up hehe.

I would definetly be a Dark Night. I would love to just have that Brute Strength, and sheer awesomeness.

Either a Paladin or a Bard. Paladins kick ass, cause they can dish out major damage *and* heal themselves, while protecting others. Plus the Lightbringer let you cast Holy. I say Bards, because I think they're misunderstood. The main reason Edward was so bad in battles was that he never got any good equipment until the GBA version, and that was after the final boss.

I'd be a Paladin so I could kick some arse and guard and heal my friends. But Ninja is pretty cool too. So a Paladin with the Ninja's dual wielding ability would be a beautiful thing.

A Paladin, Ninja, or Dragoon will be nice because of the Dragoon's Jump, the Ninja's Two Hands and The Paladin that can heal and guard.

Dark Knight I would be as it's the strongest class in my opinion, it has great Attacks that always manage to get through tough enemies. I'd also like to be a Red Mage just for fun.

I would want to be a lunarian. They got better magic than a regular black or white mage and you have both types of magic. Its too bad they aren't physically strong. Otherwise they'd be powerful.

Id have to say the dark knight, he was awesome, much better then that smelly palidan.......... well he would be if i got to keep playing the dark knight instead of becoming the palidan......... well the dark knight rocked
