Most annoying boss in FF3

Kinda self-explanatory. What or who do you believe is the most annoying boss in the game?

Mine is Garuda. His Lightning attack is similar to Thundaga...only on steroids. It always killed any party member cept my WM or dragoon(if it was jumping).

Actually the most annoying for me was the rat :3 I never start training until after the rat, so I'm sort of like "gddamn!"

Wow...not that i have reached the end of the game after a helluva lotta leveling...i would have to say...Echidna from the world of darkness. Her drain spell is uber powerful and does around 1200 to my devout...who has a magic def of about 80-ish.

I also had trouble with the rat! Being in mini really didn't help.

And of course bahamut when I didn't realize you had to run away...pretty much an instant kill.

I didn't really level much prior to entering the second world, so Kraken was also a major problem for my characters. The first time I played the game, I didn't change my characters to Dragoons for the Saronian castle battle, and my Red Mages took quite a thumping from lightning attacks.

rat was easy, as all my guys were red mages, definitely salamander, i was level 11 when i got to him...

Does Cerebes and two-headed dragon count?They would just kill everyone(Devout was always killed first.)It took me about 15 times to beat them and cloud of darkness was so easy!This was just for the ds remake older version was easier.

The last few bosses (2 Headed Dragon/Cerberus/Echnida/Ahriman) were probably some of the toughest fights in FF history, due to many underlying factors, one of which being that by the time that one is in the dark world, it is impossible to come back for supplies or whatnot, which makes things very difficult if the party is ill-prepared, regardless of level. Not only that, but each boss has a specific ability that allows them to tear through the entire party with ease (Dragon's attack power, Ahriman's seemingly never-missing death spells, etc.), and lack of phoenix downs + lots of wear and tear = game over. And don't get me wrong, it wasn't just these fights at the end that happened to be overly difficult, a lot of bosses throughout the game were quite tough to take down, making this one of the most challenging/enjoyable rpgs I have played.

Same here. If I couldv'e went out of Mini mode, I would've beaten him easily... >>

Garuda is a pretty annoying fight, even on my second playthrough. Another boss fight could be the Unei and Doga fight, however on my second time it was easier.

Most anoying boss? I should say most annoying bosses! Everything after Garduda annoyed me to no end. The strategy for every bosses after garuda was always

1 characters heals the party
1 Characters uses magic attack
2 Characters uses physicals

Rince and repeat. Very boring.

For me, everything in the World of Darkness. I've lost to Ahriman so many times... and the fact that the last time you could possibly save is VERY far away, it is the only FF I haven't yet beaten. I just can't be screwed trying when only one death will ruin the fruits of my labour. Those bosses are uber tough, and that isn't always a good thing.
