Okay, so I got my copy of FFIII DS. I'm almost done with the game and I have my Onion Knight class. The OK is so awesome because it can carry any armor and weapon, and it can also cast any white, black, and summon. Here's the thing, why is it's stats soo weak? Will it progress much higher when you get it to a high job/level?

The stats are greater then the other classes once your character's Lv. (exp) is 99.

haha, yeah, I actually played the older version, that's why I'm almost done. BTW, If you wanna add me as your friend then PM me.

Yeay! I got my Onion Knight (nice hat). Really thought something like that would have been a lot harder to get than it was! Little picture here for anyone that hasn't seen him yet ->

What other classes, apart from ninja are there to unlock?

I think that's all. No other unlockable classes. Wait what do you mean by ninja? How come the ninja class is a secret job? Your suppose to get the ninja with the rest of the other classes(black belt, devout, magus, summoner, sage). I don't think the ninja class is a secret.

Well.......here's a list:

Starting class: Freelancer
1st Job set: Warrior, Monk, White mage, Black mage, Red mage, Thief.
2nd Job set: Ranger, Knight, Scholar, Geomancer.
3rd Job set: Dragoon, Viking, Dark Knight, Evoker, Bard.
4th Job set: Black Belt, Devout, Magus, Summoner, Sage, Ninja.
Hence, Ninja's were never a secret class job in the DS version. And I have no Idea why there posting up on IGN and every other gaming site, except gamefaqs, the "Hint - Call Me Ninja" post.

Awesome. I went a head and removed that from the thread i made of tips and tricks, ect. As you can tell just grabbed those from any other site and just consolidated them and reworded parts for ease of reading. You should add that list to that thread. Thats good stuff. Thanks again.

When does the 2nd job set get unlocked then? I seem to "generally" have all four characters specialising in two different job classes...

i.e.
Luneth = Monk (lvl 14) & Black Mage (lvl 10)
Arc = Black Mage (lvl 14) & Onion Knight (lvl 6)
Reifa = Red Mage (lvl 8) & Thief (lvl 14)
Other one = White Mage (lvl 9) & Warrior (lvl 13)

Want to know when I will be able to upgrade to greater things!

1st of all, patience.
2nd, you get it when you are complete with the Molten cave. That's north of the Dwarven cave.

it starts low, like 7, incrementing 1 every 10ish job levels. Then around the last 5 job levels they start really increasing. At the end, you end up with maxed out stats.

I don't think the onion knight class stats increase until you reach around late 90s in level(NOT job levels).

The Onion Knight is the only unlockable job in the game, wo u need some friends...

then send 7 letters to them, and 4 to topapa...
THEN
if u send 4 to everyone else (i think... hmmm....) and u get a secret Cave
WITH UBER HARD BOSSES
beat the game... ^^^then go there

(i too am madd that i have 4 lvl 7~8(lvl lvl) OK's (lvl 11~12) and they suck....
as of right now.... BUT THEY GET BETTER (or so ive heard))
