| Final Fantasy III This game made it's official US debut in the form of a remake for the Nintendo DS. Talk about it or even the original NES version here. |

I got both of my characters to level 99 by using the solo training version(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) @ bahamuts place and got them to onion knights. My thoughts: not as impressive as i thought because I was hoping that Luneth(the strong yet less intelligent type) would cast fire/fira to a strong monster and deal 9999 damage. It didn't...it did only 1204 damage. Sometimes I wonder if stats can go over 99 points (invisibly, like the damage limit 9999). Anybody?

Onion Knight gets A LOT better from level 93, and it has 99 on ALL stats on level 99 (not job level).
Did any of you have beaten the secret boss (I think it's the Iron Giant or something)?

Mental572 - first off, the older version would be the japanese version. considering it was on the NES it would be differnt. Do some reading and you would find out that the kept in game intact, and added the story line. a "friend code" is nintendos way of helping people keep track of each other. think of it as a screen name fr you favorite instant messanger.
Now to the questions directed to me, no i have not played the origanal game on the NES, but by reading some FAQs online, and doing some general research thats what i figured out. DS version you start as a freelancer, NES version you start as an Onion KNight, all they did is change the name of the starting job, and made "Onion Knight" a secret job. got it
