More specifically, who here had placed a pre-order for Final Fantasy III DS? Who's walking in today and picking it up right off the shelves?

I paid it off entirely ahead of time, myself. It's out today. Holy crap. IT'S UPON US! It'll be nice to finally play an official translation; I just hope they haven't changed anything about the story itself. I don't mind if they added extra things (which they did, we all know that), but I will be a bit miffed if too many things are removed.

This reminds me, I need to hop in my car, drive to work, and grab my game.

Bah, nevermind. Today's the ship date. Most retailers won't be able to actually sell it until tomorrow, including my store. You know, I hate that. Some companies list the "release date" as the ship date, others as the sell date, and others still as the street date. That's a whole other topic for a whole other thread, but in short, I wish they'd all list the release date as the actual date of sale. Oh well. Tomorrow, then!
