completing my collection - FF1

so i'm trying to complete my collection on FF1 so i can have everything and play through the easy mode and get the cg extras, ect.
i am have nearly completed everything except for one monster which i have already spent 3 hours trying to find.

the monster i'm trying to find is: Tyrannosaur.

Now from walkthroughs that i've read and internet searches i've done, they say best to get it right around the lake north of Lufenia, or the forrest surrounding Lufenia. Both of these descriptors are a bit vauge. is there a pretty specific spot to find this creature? i didn't have trouble getting warmech or the iron golem (maybe 15 minutes a piece), but this one, i am having no luck at all.

please help!

Weird I am sure I got it and that finger point bit where you can level up, unless of course I am thinking of something else. If I am then it's not common but it pops up in various places. Well seem as you found it this is probably useless but if anybody else gets stuck. I never got 100% of the collections though
