A couple of FFIIIj questions...

1. What are the little numbers above the enemies for?

2. What does getting Skill Up mean?

yes...I am an FF3j noob. This is my first time playing it...

1. The numbers are simply there to inform you which party member is attacking which monster. "1" would be the first member of the party, "2" would be the second one, etc.

2. Gaining Skill advances your skill with that particular class. Although I've never really bothered to look, I'm pretty sure it has an effect on your stats. It also lets you reap the benefits of the class by having a high skill level.

I thought it was something like that. Thanks for clearing that up!
