*i would agree on that "looking cool" part,coz he does look cooler than most of the characters but the ninja or AKA thief has some weaknesses too you know.and this thread is about the "best"!not the "coolest!"character.

*First he has low HP,and ive played a few times and even noticed that the theif has lesser HP that the mages,i dont know if its his attribute or his point distributon in leveling up.

*his dodge is very high,but his defense is low because he can only equip light armor or clothes,so if he is hit physically it would really hurt.and if the enemy is a magic user it will hurt him even more because he cant dodge magic and he has low HP!

His defense sucks right away, but after level 10, he's unstoppable. Who needs spells when u got items.

The Warrior is the best.He is always a member of a party,had the highest Str & Hp & when he gets his new Paladin Upgrade,enabling him to use the strongest weapons in the game,he just owns the game.No one can defeat him.He was the hitter in my party while the rest were powering him up.(Otherwise i wouldn't beat Omega)

Black Belt/Monk. Don't equip them with any weapons and keep training them. The higher your job level the more damage you do. Most people automatically assume that the weapon will make the character stronger. This is a misconception. When you have a weapon equipped to the character, it only makes him/her weaker.

i would have to say that ninja is the best job. the reason for my view is that

Seeing as how this is a topic on the original FF game that has been posted in the wrong thread, I give my 2 cents anyway. The best job class in Final Fantasy 1 would have to be white mage. Curing characters without the need of spending money on potions is the way to go. They are also the only ones who can revive a fallen party member (in the 8-bit version). They are almost immune to most status effects (I guess due to their high intelligence rating). And they can still THE best weapon in the game.

I have got to say the best one is Dragoon cuz they kick some major butt and pull off 9999 a lot. I just love using jump and my friend here at school doesn't even use it.
