The Sprite-like characters were the point of that game. Take them away for 3-D and have a game that looks amazing but plays like an older game.(Awkward) considering they just remade them for PSP and they did I and II Dawn of Souls for GBA, they will prolly think "Pop that into ur DS and u do have I and II on DS!!"

Yea, and it's actually pretty good...the details are better and it's still have the old school fighting system.

I'm hoping that these games aren't made again for the DS. These games have been remade so many times, that I'm sure everyone has had a chance to get them. I think SE is focusing to much on remaking games. They should come up with some new ideas. I don't think a game needs to be remade for every system. Some remakes would be good, but I don't think these need to be remade.

Here is what I think.

Keep everything in the story, and names, keep the characters as classes and names of your choice. Up the graphics for the DS. They should have 8 voice actors. 4 male 4 female. 1 for each character. So that character 1 is A and B voice actor, character 2 is C and D, etc etc. Dialog wont have names for the characters, just with NPCs and such. Change the spell names to updated names, IE Curaga instead of Cure 3.

That is what I would love to see.

It would be good considering that III & IV are made for DS, so having I & II made would be sorta like revitalizing the PSX days, but considering I & II are already remade out onto the PSP I don't see any reason to do so. Anyway, buying a PSP & DS these days isn't entriely hard, hand-held consoles are pretty darn cheap these days.

I would prefer if they did FFV and FFVI for the ds just like FFIII and FIV. V and VI are better and it would be cool to see them in 3-D and here what Square chose for their voices

No I+II remakes for DS, they've already remaded them for PSP which is a better remake than FFIII & IV.
