Is ther a difference with FF I on GBA??? Well, i don't really know...
But anyways. I remeber that you have to use the ship to get to a port with a Big Castle & a town to the south east, Elfeheim is it's name i think. . There are elves living in it. You'll have to go see the prince of the castle who is kept sleeping because of a wisard. Check this : http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gba...e/920240/35236 It's hard to find where you have to go when on the boat, but don't give up. |

There's not much of a difference, just better graphics and some bonus dungeons. Also, I thought you could only port at elfheim After you Blow up the canal.

Go to the port at the very beginning of the game and head due south. There is a town right below the castle. This is the next town. All the stuff you need to do to complete this part is to the west. After getting the mystic key from Astos, search EVERY treasure chest that could not be opened before. There are about 23 of them. Then give the dynamite to then dwarf who wants to blow up the canal. I leave the rest to you.

You take the Ship to Cornelia's most southern tip, then go down, you'll find a small port for your Ship to park. Head south, and you'll find the village of Elfheim. You learn that the Elf Prince has been cursed, and everyone wants you to lift the curse. Head west, through the forest, head north to find the Western Keep. Inside you'll find a king who'll ask you to find a Crown hidden in the Marsh Cave and bring it to him. Head south to the Marsh Cave, and travel through it until you reach a room where you battle Piscodemons, defeat them, and take the Crown in the chest. Exit Marsh Cave and take the Crown to the King in the Western Keep. He'll reveal himself as Astos, who you will have to fight. Defeat him to obtain Mayota's lost Crystal Eye. Take the eye to her, and she'll give you the Jolt Tonic. If you forgot where her cave is, it's north of the bridge near Cornelia. Give the Jolt Tonic to the Prince in Elven Castle, and he'll give you the Mystic Key. Use that to open the locked doors in Elven Castle, Castle Cornelia, and Marsh Cave. Inside Cornelia's locked room, one of the chests will hold Nitro Powder. This Key Item is essential to continuing the story. Take the Nitro Powder to a dwarf in their cave which is near a port west of Cornelia, and he'll open a path to the rest of the world.
