The first FF2 battle

is there any way to beat it.
cuz i always die and thats how the story gose.
But i think there is an alternet beging and its only if you beat it.

I don't think there is any wa to win. ou jus have to lose and then Leon becomes a Dark Knight and everybody else goes to Altair. I don't think that there is an alternative ending.

Its impossible to beat because you can't train beforehand.
You die in one hit, and inflict almost no damge on them, you haven't any good battle items either.

you MIGHT be able to use a gameshark or other cheating device, but im not really sure. you can try it and find out.

If the only way of doing it is with a gameshark, there won't be a reward(alt. scene), it'd probably just act like you died even if you won.

On FFX I beat Geosgeano at the beginning using the cheats and it just acted like I lost even though he split into a thousand pyreflies. So this would probably be the same.

I wondered that too in the begining if you could beat them but no. They're far too powerful and you're far too weak in the begining to even scratch them with what you've got. just die and let the story go on.

I think that the whole point of the scene is to lose horribly. The game creator really likes movies and wanted to create video games that were more like movies. By starting the game with a battle that can not be won the player can see how much he has improved by the end of the game and it gives you more of an underdog feel like in the movies.

Yes, what would be the point in beating them in your first fight. But even with the good equipment you would probably lose the fight because of the level difference.

I don't think so, seeing as they have tons of health and you have practically none, and they kill you in one hit, I would say no.

impossible sry, the enemy is like 50 lvls ahead of you, and can 1 hit each of ur chars, its all part of the story.

well i think tht if they wanted u too, you could beat one. I managed to deal 10 damage to one of the enemies. its funny though, i only got in 10 damage at em
