The GBA and PSX versions piss me off to no end because they made them so much easier. Same applies to the GBA version of FFIV. Dumbed down for the stupid ass American audiences. Sorry, I like my challenging old school games, thanks. I can't even find my ****ing DoS cart anywyas. Pisses me off. -_-;

I agree with Sean on this, I've played ps1 and a rom of the NES, bet the PSX because it was tider but the NES version is how its meant to be. Also origins is too easy, I cant imagine how simple DoS will be, but I suppose if you just want to be able to say youve beaten it then go for GBA, or better yet read a walkthru and you've pretty much completed it.
I beat Chaos in 1 hit with my Monk, beat Emperor in about 5 but thats cause I wasted time with Holy and Ultima.

K first of all U CANT BEAT CHAOS IN 1 HIT maybe one turn but not one hit unless 2 people hit him with 9999 thne he would die and I can beat the Empeor in like 1n turn

I always liked the originals, just cause they were harder, dawn of souls made prices in both games drop about by 1/2, which makes the game a helluva lot shorter.
